But "right" and "wrong" are points of view.
| Isca chapter 1 . 9/1/2009
"Like a river running dry." I like that you opened this piece with an alliterative simile.
"All that's left is eroded rock." I like the way in which this line suggests that it is the 'corners' and 'rough edges' of ourselves that keep our morality in tact (i.e. if we are 'eroded' individuals, then we know no sense of 'right' and 'wrong').
"I'm garbage." I love the tone of this line - it's so heart-wrenching and blunt.
"I still don't know what scares me and what doesn't." This is a very interesting and thought-provoking line - as if a man without morality feels 'numb.'
"You know what I am." Oh wow. I don't even know what to say. This line is PHENOMENAL.
The ending is very powerful - it's almost as if the 'psycopath' knows that they'll never be 'free' until they burn themselves and the person who hurt them.
Keep up the good work. :)
