This was really good! I absolutely loved it. :)
It could be about music, as that's what you think when you first read it. But when i read it a few times, it could symbolize someone building walls around them to keep others out, and losing who they love. The first three lines of the second stanza, and these two lines could hint at that:
"In your own infinite world of music,
where you don’t even notice that the room is empty."
It could also be that someone is so caught up in their lies, that they lose who they really are.
But honestly...this was gorgeous. I wish this was an actual song! It was really touching. Sometimes the most beautiful things come from innocence. Really, amazing job.
