It kind of seems like Lean wrote what's in the notebook, but maybe I'm wrong. It's just an educated guess, after all. This was a hauntingly poetic chapter. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

I love this chapter, even though I felt really sorry for Fredrich, he happens to be my favorite character with Anna in a close second.

I like the haunting end to this chapter as well, especially the last little paragraph. It sent chills up my spine. Stupendous job! I think I'll head over and read chapter 8 while I'm at it. I need to catch up to myself!

Well, glad to see that you've updated here. That was pretty fast though. :) Anyway, I think the notepad's contents are referring to Lean. If I'm wrong here, correct me. Also, the words written in the notepad has a very strong impact on the reader via the creative usage of words. As for Anna, well it seems that anything and everything is possible in terms of the mental aspect. Apart from that, nothing much to say. Wonder what will happen to Lean in the next chapter.

P.S: I know I'm talking crap, but your avatar really looks way too much like Roa of the Tsukihime game. But then again, is it really him? :D

The shadowy motives of the doctors just adds to the suspense here haha. Anna's descent into madness is well-documented as well, increasing the intrigue that is attached to her and just about the only sane person remaining is probably Friedrich! And even then he's one messed up fellow as well heh.

I'm really enjoying the underlying 'survival of the fittest at the cost of one's humanity' theme and do wonder how you plan to explore it further in future chapters. Will read more when I have the time!

Who's Roger? 'Not only that; the fact that Roger reminded her one thing.' I think it's a typo and you actually meant Ritter but I wouldn't know, maybe it's someone else connected to this story or something.

I had initially thought the reflection to be a dog lol. But in any case, it was a truly disturbing moment befitting of the theme this story has taken.

In any case, I do wonder about Anna - who exactly is she till she would be so willing to shed blood and be so knowledgeable about weapons as well hmm?

Anyway, this was an interestingly morbid piece. I can sense the eerie Silent Hill-esque atmosphere surrounding the hospital and the scene where the doctors were butchering the man while he was still alive added a graphic touch to an otherwise gray setting.

I've always enjoyed a dark read, so I've a feeling I'm going to enjoy this one haha!

Interesting chapter. Friedrich seems to know a lot more then he's letting on. I'm really interested in knowing what exactly he knows about their conditions as you will or the 'something' in Anna's words that is controlling her.

Herro there. Me again. :) Anyway, that was an interesting chapter here in the sense that a new character was introduced here plus a certain new revelation. Anyway, it seems that you're making Friedrich into a minor character here with Anna and Lean playing the main roles. As for Rudolph, it seems that he will be the main antagonist here or at least part of that cast. I'll be interested to see how you will input the humane aspects of the villains though since I can't really think up of anything in this area where the WWII period is concerned. Which is why I respect the dude who made the latest Nanking WWII movie since he actually had the creativity to do the movie from the humane view of a Japanese soldier. Unfortunately, it seems that there a lot of stupid people in China, which is why the whole movie stirred up controversy in China. :S Anyway, it seems that Anna will really have to tame Lean to win her over here. Interesting to see what will happen next. :)

I had a minute and decided to read this. It's got much more description to it than my works. This is kind of what I should be focusing on writing for fictionpress. Historical Fiction is always pretty cool. I'll make sure to come back and read more

Well, sucks to know that the escape ended up in a failure. :S Anyway, in a very real sense, the aspect of Lean going batshit guano loco sort of reminds me of Tsukihime where Arcueid more or less went into the same state as well. Also it seems that Anna has some kind of weird ability to cheat death. Sort of reminds me of Deadpool in the Marvel comics. That guy was one hell of a death cheating mofo. It's like he just can't die in any way or form because Death refuse to take him for some weird reasons. Anyway, wonder what will happen next and it may really end up with Lean and Anna the only ones escaping. Herro there. Me again lol! :D Anyway, glad to see that you've updated this one. Ok, on the stalker, tbh I've more or less expect it's an ally. It's like if not, then Anna would have been busted. But good turn of events on the ally issue since it would be interesting to see a new character here. :) As for Friedrich, well hope he's okay. I mean he's one of my favorite characters here, so I'd hate to see him die. Or at least killed off prematurely. :S With that being said though, I do hope he and Lean can be Anna's companions. And I do see that you've got the tendency to use a major amount of female characters in your stories not to mention the fact that a good number of your fics have female main characters. Interesting I must say since you're a guy and imo, guys don't really have the tendency to use the opposite sex as main characters. ;) And lol is Lean a vampire? I do think so unless she's somewhere along the line of werewolf lol. Anyway, cliffhanger here of sorts. Wonder what will happen next. ;)

I was wondering when you'd update and I'm glad that you finally did. Aside from Melissa Norvell's Sacrifice, this story is one of the best on FictionPress. Every time I read it I swear that I fall more in love with it. I'm anxious about this new character and what your next chapter holds.

What a great chapter! It was a wait but definitely worth it. I wonder about Lean and what kind of connections she has. It seems that the mystery of that 'hospital' keeps getting more and more interesting. I look forward to your next chapter.
