"I wanted to live. And for that, I would die." It holds so much strenght behind it! Any who, I burned my pointer finger all the way from base to knuckle and tomorrow (3-23) is my birthday! And Lucien. :D I just wanted to say that your story is what introduced me to the fascinating topic of ancient religions. I've only dabbled in Greek and Roman mythology before I read it, and all I can say is that it’s always great to expand your horizons. :D The legend of Lilith especially interests me, since it has its ties to the Bible. I’m a Catholic, but it’s good to know things past your own beliefs. It gives you a more objective view of everything. I can’t wait for your next chapter! |
| debatablywonderful chapter 43 . 3/16/2009 Wow, don't mess with her likes lol. I LOVE this change in her! Like some warrior or something, ripping her dress and rampaging through the woods wielding her weapon haha. Finally though! She's been so frustratingly submissive and compliant for most of the story and to see her finally take a stand and fight! eep, lets just say I'm totally excited for the next update! Lilith fighting, woo! BTW, end note was fabulous on this chapter! 'I WILL stand my ground'! Totally reminded me of within temptations song, 'stand my ground'. The only small criticism, well, not 'criticism' but whatever is when the hound is transforming? I'm not quite sure lol, I just got a little lost there. And it wasn't exactly the lack of description, I just couldn't really get my head around it haha. But! otherwise I was totally getting into it, probably so much I was becoming a little geeky :P. Oh! and the chapter before this one too! I actually like full body flinched or what not when Alex got his eye cut! And when she got hit with the fireball thing, I really hope she isn't dead though. Excellent description with that scene by the way, I could totally picture it to a T in my head. Anyhoo's thanks again for the great read, and I'll pop back later for the next chappie when it comes! :) |

I don't see why you didn't love it as much as I do :[ I felt like such a dork for being on the edge of my chair and pretty much biting my nails while reading it.
