I guess this story won't be finished - too long since the last update. That's too bad.

You continue to be very vivid in detailing their emotions. Goes just to show how complicated the human spirit is. I still don't have a handle on how things are going for them which is killing me. lol

Still love this story. But I hope that soon we will find out why David cheated on Rachel in the first place.

I don't think that Malcolm is the right person for her. However, I wish that she had a good relationship with someone else even if you put the two of them back together.

David has had many women, besides the one he cheated with. They've been divorced. Rachel should have had some relationships as well. David shouldn't know that he was the only one for her.

Since we don't know what drove him to cheat in the first place I am not sure if he wouldn't cheat on her again - and she deserves better.

I'm glad to see that you haven't given up on this story and hope you continue because I dying to see how this ends.

Lovely work here. Deep with emotion and realism where the kids are concerned. I feel bad for David, but I'm not sure Rachel could realistically fall in love so fast. The not saying yes confirms it for me. Keep penning.

It's funny how you updated this story as my husband and I just watched "No Greater Love" this past weekend. If you don't know about the movie, it deals with an estranged married couple, and their path toward reconciliation and salvation through biblical principles of marriage. So this has been a topic my husband and I have been discussing as it relates estranged couples we know plus those in mainstream media. The couple in the movie didn't have to deal with one's fidelity, but with one's abandonment. Anyway, I'm not sure if you will be touching on the issue of faith in this story, but I can say even more how sympathetic I am towards the adults' plight. You do continue to write this complicated issue beautifully. You just can't choose sides. Either way, someone is bound to get hurt which is not easy to swallow.

I can't figure out if you want them to get back together or not.

Still don't know why he cheated in the first place.

In this chapter he sure was wallowing in self pity. He wanted being the "bad guy" to go away. But no one can do that for him. He cheated and even if/when Rachel forgives him that will not go away. He can't change the past. That stigma will stay with him regardless of what happens between them in the future.

You keep making us go through this emotional rollercoaster. The last couple of chapters really pulled on the emotional strings. I feel just as confused as the Rachel and David.

On a side note, there were a some typos in the last three chapters. One where you say Robin when I think you mean Rachel(I think it was in the last one). And also I think there was one area where you stated Malcolm, but I think you meant David (Chap 17 or 12b).

I don't understand what made him cheat in the first place. While it appears that he still does truly Rachel not knowing why he cheated makes it difficult to believe that he would actually be faithful if they got back together.

There are many men who are incapable of monogomy and yet they do love their wives and family.

Rachel isn't the type to tolerate that type of marriage.

You updated! And sorry it took me so long to update. So, another male character vying for Rachel's affections. You continue to add another layer to a already complex situation. Even with that being said, you still manage to capture their emotions beautifully. I can't wait for the next update.

Wow! That was an amazing two chapters. You write really well and have really pulled at my heartstrings. It's so hard to pick sides, but maybe that's the point. With infidelity and divorce, everybody loses (especially the kids) and that's the heartbreaking thing about it. I can't wait to see what you have up next.

I feel bad for the kids. They really want their family together. That is the problem with divorce.

I can't tolerate "cheating" by either the woman nor the man. Unfortunately they don't think of anyone but themselves at that time. Later when they have time to reflect they may realize that what they did was wrong. But, in many cases, by then it is too late.

It appears that Rachel is marrying Malcolm for "a reason." She probably doesn't love him. Butr, that does not mean that she should get back together with David. Why would she want to give him another chance or trust him. There are no guarantees in life and if he "cheated" when they ran into problems he could do that again.

So glad you updated again. Boy, what a character that Lillian is! Kinda have little hints of my mom, unfortunately. LOL I hope you will update soon again.

I do hope that you explain why he cheated - it doesn't matter if it only happened one time. Cheating is cheating no matter how you look at it.

While I don't want them back together - wouldn't be able to trust him, I also don't want her marrying someone else unless she is fully committed to that relationship.
