And you're right, I didn't even notice it was that long until I delved into it, which, was making a commitment of sorts because then I HAD to know how they end up together. I loved loved loved Kea's food obsession and how Dale always has candy bars for her. I also really liked how the characters were so developed. It felt like the story was more about the best friends than Dale x Kea, and honestly, that really struck a chord with me, since I sort of had this falling out with my best friend over the "you take advantage of me and sit and cry and complain about how it's everyone else's fault"...thing, haha. Only difference is that we don't really talk, thought a part of me wishes we ended up like Avery and Kea. I guess basically, all I'm saying is good job, and your writing is great. :) |
