I really like your story so far. I can't believe she told them she was married though. I wish she'd just said that she was 18 and was with her daughter, not that she was married, Jace seems so sweet and might have been able to find her somewhere to stay. How old is Adeline exactly? You said that she was 4 weeks old but the way you describe her she sounds older, maybe 4 months - is she really 4 weeks or was that a typo?
