|Reviews for Noyé|
| Kyllorac chapter 1 . 2/8/2009
That was beautiful. The imagery, the tragedy, just beautiful.
That said, the ending felt a bit weak. I think it would have been more effective if you'd related it back to the narrator touching him, like "I would have seen the ocean retreating behind me, taking your touch with it." Or something similar.
Also, I'm curious: what does noyé mean?
Still, beautiful piece.
| Indie Tangles chapter 1 . 2/8/2009
Your words always amaze me, amuse me, linger on my skin.
Bittersweet, wonderful, with a touch of longing and desire and misery that feels genuine.
I also have a question, not about this, just about you in general. Why are you afraid of people finding you through googeling your old penname? The Cynic's Creed is still up, so it's not like your past stories are coming back to bite you ...? If it's none of my business, that's fine, I was just curious. Anyways, I hope you have a lovely day regardless. :)
