Hi, I'm just going to nitpick now, but the bit where she's yawning, I think you meant the yawn escaped 'my lips' rather than 'by lips'? Also, I was just wondering, since this is set in England, to make the character voice more authentic, maybe you should try and use British English? So something like comforter can be changed to duvet? Anyway, thanks for the story, I've really enjoyed reading it (I thought it would be better if I reviewed in a chapter where I can find you some examples of what I was talking about)

I'll admit, after reading Soliloquy (which I loved!), I was a little wary of whether the sequel would be at the same level. My doubts were unwarranted, and I loved it even more than the first one! So much drama and romance and wonderful plot twists, leading to a nicely tied up ending; you always do a wonderful job of leaving no little conflict unsolved. Thank you for posting this here! :D

This sequel has been excellent. It carried on the plot and mysteries well, and everything was laid out perfectly!

How many more chapters?
swimracer chapter 18 . 12/2/2009
Ah! Cliff hangers will be the death me! Who is Jaedo? Her father? Is it... Jules? Even though I am moaning about the cliffhanger, I still love how the readers is given the chance to think about the story and come to a conclusion themselves. So, in a kind of masochistic way, I am glad you stopped there. However, please update soon anyway. I absolutely love this story!

coral and copper chapter 14 . 8/17/2009
I have to say, you steer clear of romance and drama cliches while maintaining an intriguing story-line with believable characters. The twists pop up with perfect timing, and perhaps most impressive of all, you narrate in first person without giving away all the good bits. It's something to be proud of. Sequels are tricky things, and I think you've done a great job so far. Keep it up, and thank you for taking the time to write and share such an enjoyable story. : )

amazing. That's all I can say about this chapter. :D
YamiKinoko chapter 11 . 7/15/2009
Wow, I am so thrilled~~ I just received my response to the previous review, and there is a new chapter out~~ Speaking from the view of a reader (though admittedly not a view that often coincides with that of the author) quick updates are generally the most wonderful things on FP.

Again, you end the chapter in a pefect place-and I don't believe that it's just my love of cliffhangers speaking-in a novel, I believe this ending would have been perfect fir a chapter as well. Speaking of novels-I'm glad to hear that you plan to be published-let me know when Soliloquy comes out, because I will certainly buy it in hardcover.

One thing I noticed though, is a simple grammatical error that I've caught once before-the difference between "lay" and "lie." Not that I know the rule for the verb or anything, but I just know when it's used correctly or not. Perhaps you could look up the rule? Maybe I'm the one who's wrong. :)

Great job with this chapter as well. :)
YamiKinoko chapter 10 . 7/14/2009
Hello~

I thought I'd review, and mention that your story is hardly of the sort I find on FP-you have a true novelist's flair, did you know that? Have you ever entertained thoughts of being published? Soliloquy and Lament belong in print, you know.

Anyway, I thought I'd pay my compliments in this last chapter, as I was in such a hurry to read, I didn't take the time to review in the other ones. I love how your characters are so vivid, and how the air of suspense is enough to keep one on the edge of the seat, as opposed to bothersome and stifling. Yor chapters contain a proper amount of content-aren't overstuffed with events, and end in all the right places. Quite noteworthy.

I must say, I've also need seen anyone combine the theories of alchemy with the legends of the sidhe, or at the very least, never seen it done so artfully. You make itnseem as though the Illuminata and the Unseelie Court belong on the same plane of being. And pardon me, but are the seven Morgensterns meant to represent the 7 cardinal sins? Or is that just a product of my FMA-addicted mind? Either way, your characterizations of them are subtle, a little eerie, and beautiful all at the same time.

In any case, frther praise might cause you to doubt it sincerity (if indeed you haven't done so already), so I'll just finish here, and continue in a review of the next chapter.

Job fantastically done.
