Reviews for Happy Endings and All |

![]() ![]() ![]() I can not believe that it has taken me this long to finally read this story. It is good, but I have a few issues. (If you have not read this story yet you may want to do that before you read my review) First, what ever happened to Lilly? Tristan has been keeping her alive all this time. If he is no longer there did she die? I feel bad for Hansel. He is a lost little boy in a man's body looking for someone to love him and once he finds that someone I am sure that he will become a better person. I find Tristan to be shallow. The main reason he turned Hansel down is because he is overweight. Then he sees a handsome man and it is ok for that man to prey on him. I do not trust the prince. It feels like he is taking Tristan on as a conquest and once he has had him then things are going to go down hill. I hate the fact that they never really had a real conversation before they confessed their love. He said no one in town is nice to Tristan, but that not true, it is only the rich people treating Tristan like that. He is friends with the common people in town. The fact that the prince only sees the rich people makes me even more leery of him and I am surprised that Tristan was not offended by that comment. Tristan went through a lot of stuff and still stuck with his family. He would not just up and leave like that unless his family did something really bad to him and nothing like that happened. If he found his true love does that mean his curse is over or does he live the rest of his life with a basket under his chin? Why did he never even consider trying to figure out how to stop the curse? If there is so many people who get into trouble with strangers should there not be a protocol of what to do if you meet a stranger in the middle of nowhere? The way you described the fairy I thought it was going to be the visitor that turned out instead to be the prince. How do they know Tristan's father by the way? I was waiting for that explanation. The ending really does not fit with this story. I know that you were trying to add to the story with the French but I do not know enough French to translate it so I ended up skipping those parts. You may want to add a translation on the bottom. |
