whoa... can't say it was unexpected behavior from Ezekiel in the end about Blade, but just that he was there was already a surprise. But I really was amazed about his behavior before. Him being as unreadable as he is it makes my brain run wild with possibilities. Of course he's no family man & becoming father will not make him snap into a model citizen. But maybe, just maybe there is a small, microscopic even, part that feels a bit more about Melissa than about other people around him. Can't wait but still am a bit wary about the explanation of why Melissa was there at all...

Anyway, Since Melissa was physically beaten up and Blade DID kick her a lot, was the baby hurt? Would Melissa actually end up miscarrying? PLEASE reply this with my earlier review, I just thought of this right after I submitted it and I"m dying to know or at least get a response heh. Thanks! :)

WOW, this chapter was so iINTENSE. I might have said this before but I'm getting scared of Ezekiel more and more each time. How did they find Melissa? Was she somehow tracked? I'm glad that Blade's dead, I hated him from the beginning anyway. But hey, if you always try to find depth and good in your most evil characters, does that include Ezekiel too? Hard to find anything "good" in a robot/machine...

Well on the positive side, Mimi is getting better! Melissa doesn't owe anything to Blade anymore and she's not going to die in this story, so Ezekiel can't murder her.

On the down side, Melissa is injured, beaten up and STILL not aborted.I'm freaked out by Ezekiel killings and what he's going to do next, he was already pissed at her for getting high earlier and I wonder how he'll react to Melissa's "condition". I think it's inevitable that he'll find out right after this, why was she in that place? Why was Blade beating her? How much did she owe him? WHY did she owe him? One mention of an abortion and BOOM, pregnancy light bulb moment! Ezekiel's smart, he'll pick up everything right?

Oh, and I loved the Melissa's line "Slut, whore, bitch. That's like calling grass green and expecting it to get offended." True, those words must have been thrown away too many times that they lost their severity on her.

Wow, great chapter. I had a feeling Ezekiel knew what was what (He's EZEKIEL). But wow... talk about gruesome. And I totally winced when he brushed back his hair with his bloody hands. Ick ick ick. I'm very weird about my hair (aka vain), and getting blood in it would make me so freaked out...

Now I'm super curious to see if Ezekiel knows that she's pregnant. I wouldn't put it past him.

I've been reading this story for quite a while now, and yet its still my favourite 8D

So instead of my ordinary, 'UPDATE!' 'I LOVE THIS STORY' I should write a bit more 8D

One of the things I like about the story is the realism about it, the story is realistic. (Nothing against Sci-Fi) But the interactions between the really individual characters, for example, Yogi, he wanted to become a women, but he was too poor, and when he did get the hormones, it wasn't like he won the lotto or anything, but he found a person who ended up giving him the money, but IN RETURN to give something back to him. I like the realism of that, its fair.

Then when Melissa had a little cinderella kind of thing going on, she ends up with so much problems and fear after recieving such wealth, and again, its fair! You can imagine such things happen in real life!

I also like the perspective written, first person. And Melissa? What I like about her is that she's ordinary. Not like a girl with extreme high intelligence, or amazingly beautiful, but just a simple girl who tries to do what she needs to do for survival. Perfect example to throw at the mary sue creators.

But of course, the originality. The town, cities and people. The setting seems like a different type of world, but yet, it still kept every thing that can be related in real life. Not too much changes to make it confusing, but enough to make it original.

And of course, Ezekiel. What more can I say? ;D

I could write more and more about what I like the story, but I'm gonna stop here. So, keep up the great work, I'm gonna be reading till the end :D

this pregnancy def shakes thing up! it seems that no matter what happens with the pregnancy, someone is gonna get hurt and I really hope it won't be Melissa. Or the baby. Anything seems possible at this point, it's so sad :/ Great suspense though!

Oh, crap. :o Well, she's probably more screwed over than before. How is she going to pay back Blade without Ezekiel knowing? It's probably going to be impossible. The only thing I don't get is why Melissa didn't bother to tell Ezekiel of the pregnancy? I know Tanya probably got killed for this reason, but wasn't that because she did it on purpose and didn't get an abortion? Wouldn't Ezekiel understand that it was a mistake and get Melissa to abort the baby? (though I feel bad for the baby though)

wow, the pregnancy is getting more and more serious! I'm seriously scared of Ezekiel for her. I hope Melissa has the abortion ASAP without him knowing, but I have a feeling you'll make it otherwise...

Ezekiel still doesn't have a CLUE, right? Or does he know and he's just pretending not to? Or maybe he's so firm under the idea of control that the thought of pregnancy has never bothered to cross his mind, and therefore he's less likely to suspect it. Which would make his reaction worse if he finds out...

Still, killing Tanya JUST because she was pregnant was cruel, was it really deliberate or an accident like Melissa's? Sure Ezekiel has to know that not all birth control are fool proof, and that it was his fault for not wanting another barrier of protection and use a condom! It's all bad luck really.

I'll say it again, I'm starting to feel really scared for Melissa :S
