This would be one of those times I wish for the ability to write truly kick-ass reviews. Because this lovely, wonderful, fabulous, incredible story deserves such kick-assedness.

Wow, so this is really the end... I don't know exactly what to say except to express how sad I am to see this story already finished (but hey at least there's still Dear Felicia to go *hint* :D )

Anyway, I just wanted to say this was the best ending ever. Melissa got what she needed to move on with her life and sort of got her happy ending, yet everything was still realistic. I definitely agree with your a/n. I'm also glad to see Ezekiel just right at the end, it tied in with the whole story quite nicely.

O, please do consider a teeny oneshot in the future! (no pressure heh). Either with Mel and Ezekiel or whether she ends up with Ace or Roger (or neither). Preferably the former, since there's still a part of me that's desperate to see Ezekiel once more no matter how evil he seems. Oh, and I had just recently stumbled upon your deviantart drawings of this story, and can I just say how amazed I am with your drawing ability Loved the last pic of Melissa and Ezekiel near the end of the story meme, I was like "yeah...right" :P

This story was an amazing roller coaster ride from start to fin. I'm sad to see it end (yes, I do relise that all good things must come to an end), but I enjoyed reading it over this past year. I felt like I was watching real people and not just fictional characters, and for that I do applaud you on. Any who, thank you for writing such an amazing story (and finishing it, I think the ambiguously happy ending was very appropriate), and I hope to see more of these characters in the future (even if it's just one shot).

That was a great ending! I love the ambiguity of it all (though I don't know who I'd like for her more, Roger or Ace, because they're both pretty rad), because essentially, the story isn't about her romantic adventures. It's about her dealing with a horrible life, a horrible man who makes her life a bit bearable, and then rising above it all to become more than what Metro made her. Very well done. :)

I really, really loved that Roger came in at the end. It gave a bit of closure on his storyline that I was afraid we wouldn't see. I also like that she and her sister seemed to connect here. It kind of figures that they would after Melissa had been through all that crap.

All in all, I very, very much enjoyed this story and I liked being able to read it as it goes along and all our discussions and all that. I'm so glad I stumbled upon it because it's not a typical crime story you find on FP(THE BAD GUY/LOVE INTEREST IS REDEMED. Because seriously? Ezekiel is NOT a love interest). Thank you for sharing this story with all of us!
