thirdly, i shall read your story:

Something I noticed before and never really put my finger on: is english your first language? because I feel like you use words in odd ways. Unless this is in a futuristic setting, which then I totally get it.

An example: Adelson smirked in all his glory at his pretty son's backup.

Usually a father doesn't describe his son as pretty, because of a masculinity thing. Maybe handsome or something, but usually not pretty. It carries a feminine connotation.

But if English is your first language / that was intentional and stuff, then I totally understand. lol

also, Margureretettee whatever name is, her ranting was awkward, word wise. For some reason the flow got off kilter and it was kind of hard to read.

I just knew the guy was gonna be Halcyon. How do you pronounce his name?

That was an interesting read. I like Eternity's personality and interactions with his father. This doesn't seem like the kind of story that takes itself too seriously, and I like that. I think you can have a lot of fun with this idea.
