In all the other high school crossdressing stories I came across, I found myself uncomfortable with the prospect. Now I realize its not the idea of crossdressing that bothers me but the stupid way they were written in the other fics. This one changed my mind. This was exciting. This was fun. You are an amazing writer.

Wow, this story was so beautiful! And so very entertaining, I couldn't stop reading it! I loved the characters and you certainly gave me a pang of longing for Thomps. Their goodbye was incredibly strong in such a simple way that I just loved it.
Disappearing at the sea is, perhaps, not such a bad ending for a sailor? I'd like to think so. You really got me to like them (Thomps and Smoky) so much.
Charles is absolutely lovely.
It was wonderfully narrated and it was a real pleasure to read it.

Never saw the thing with Kitty coming. Wow. I'm still sad about the second mate and his lover and Thomps and the old crew, but other than that it's perfect.

Wow, this story was very heartwarming. It started out as a story what I thought would be a story between Thomps and Noah, but it turned out to be a story about Noah and his life. I love the historical background you added that made the story and its pains seem very real. Love the ending. Don't know if you still venture to fiction press seeing as this story is 3 years old, but I want to let you know I thoroughly enjoyed this story :-)

Wow... All I have to say is that this is the better story that I've read lately and I absolutely loved it. The writing style, the story, the characters. EVERYTHING! I teared up at the whipping scene and I absolutely love the ending! Lol I must ask tho is the great great grandchild bit made up or actually true? Lol sorry if I sound dumb asking if it's not true but I loved it haha

So yet again I was amazed by one of your stories. I got absorbed into reading this. In my mind it feels kind of wrong to me that Noah and Thomps didn'd wind up together but all in all this story was amazing.

One of the best stories I've read in oh so long. I had to space this one out through a whole day of work and chores and errands. Occasionally using a laptop, PSP, iTouch and an old browser thing on a DS lite. Well worth it. I've been religiously reading your other works as well. Amazing stuff.

Hehe, I love how you end this! Charles certainly my favorite character! It's funny about what happened to Kit though, I mean, who'd have guess that he'd end up with a woman? And has children!

It's sad to read about the two young boys jumping over board... And about what happened to Thomps and Smokey. I must admit, I like them, they're good to Noah and all.
