This was a sweet ending, it wasn't unexpected, but it was a nice relief after all of the twists you threw at us in earlier chapters! I really appreciated the epilogue about the characters' lives, and I especially enjoyed Kit's story!

I don't think this one was a bad chapter... just extremely sad and made me remember so much unfair and cruel things that prejudiced people can do. Now... I'll go to read the last chapter.

Wow, that lashing part was creepy. I was cringing the entire time. I'm sad that this is the penultimate chapter; I was having a lot of fun with this story! Great job writing this amazing piece of literature!

From a technical view point, yes, it is a good chapter. WEll-written and all. To the point of being disturbing... (it is not completely a bad thing. It sounds realistic and realism is nice...)

At least now Noah has a reason to feel ok about not returning to sea... If he doesn't die on the way (yes, I'm insisting with the sad ending - it is good because it avoids negative surprises and won't shock me if bad things happen).

TOday was my first day in "holidays". Serious exams are over now. Only Italian left. So we will be talking soon.

Oh man, what a horrible reaction to "buggery". Although it was normal, wasn't it... I didn't think this chapter was bad at all - but it did show "filler" tendencies. Can't wait to read the conclusion.

So, so far I was actually right in one thing: Noah IS going back to sea (unless he wakes up too late in the morning and loses the ship... that is a possibility). And I still think he is going to die there. I think it would be too easy for him to have a happy life with Charles after November, because his entire life (maybe most of his life, at least) was a succession of back luckies, so, yeah... there is room to think of th worst.

Though... there are ways of ending this which do not include (pause for a bit: mom is listining to the Marcha Funebre. Just because I thought of NOah dying. Amazing Synchro... o.o') Noah dying, but still not ending completelly happy... It could be Charles dying, or in love, or NOah in love again...

I may just be a pessimist but I have a bad feeling about this next voyage he's about to take.

There's only two more chapters? :( That's so sad...it seemed like it would be considerably longer.
