So, I just discovered FictionPress and I clicked on something weird and ended upon your story and I have to say - BEST MISTAKE EVER.

Dude...I have no words! You and your talent are both amazing-wonderful-hilairious-awardwinning. Seriously. I sat and read this all in a whole sitting and I just *sigh* I LOVE IT! Your portrayl of both Navleen and her Mum, and the resounding culture throughout is just too good. You've truly become one of my favourites - how have you not had anything published?

Some of my favourites that reduced me to tears of laughter -

"Navleen, those two doing kissy are girls! They are of the lesbian!" - I love her Mum. Can I have her? Oh, and Arjit? CLASSIC. :') Mr. Khalil and Mum - 3 adorable. Lucan, of course - that goes without saying. ;)

But seriously - keep doing what you're doing - I am loving it. UPDATE SOOOOON!

It's 5am PST for me, I have to be up by 9am, and this would be the eighth time I've read the whole shebang, yet I shake off the feeling of wanting to read it again. It's so great to have such an amazing plot line delivered by such a wonderful and competent writer, one who has clearly demonstrated mastery of the English language as well as the gift to captivate and enchant audiences like no other. Dude-you're awesome. I fo' reals wouldn't mind waiting years for your next update just because it's such a great piece of art.

Must say I was hoping for a Christmas update! This story is so amazing, it simply must be continued, ASAP if possible. Much thanks in advance for your update ;)

Please update! I beg of you. I just re-read this story for the 4th time! It is that good! I know that you're busy with school and life, but it has been a year... and you left us in such a cliffhanger. We are still waiting for that steamy, steamy chapter that you promised. Is like twice a year too much to ask for?

Anyways, I love this story. I almost died laughing reading this last chapter even though it was for the fourth time.

I hope you realize that this story, as written so far, is just one giant tease.

Oh Lord this has to be the best story I've read on this site. Maybe I'm biased because I'm brown (first person in my Mom's gigantic family to be born outside of India). But you got the whole culture so accurate, and I was cracking up the whole time. Especially because since my cousin was just married off, I'm the next in line (and my mom was not about to let her 14 year old daughter get married to some hairy fjrisjcnrdc, and I'm still as hell not getting married right now.) Plus God forbid I marry a white boy. ANYWAY I was trying to say that all of your characters are perfectly developed, and Lucan sounds so damn hot, and the whole storyline is fabulous.

AND DEAR GOD PLEASE UPDATE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

This story is HILARIOUS! I just reread the whole story in one night. I love it so much - it captures the 'asians in the west scene' perfectly,I can relate to it SO MUCH. Navleen is such an awesome character: a kind heart but not a goody two shoes, she can have fun, she's witty, independent. Her mum is adorable - and I love their relationship even more because of how close I am to my mum myself. Lucan is SMOKIN HOT and oh so perfect without actually being a fairytale prince charming. Everything is so real. I love Navleen's insulting "skank" conversations with her friends. This story makes me SO HAPPY GIDDY EXCITED whenever I read it!

So yeah, just wanted to mention that because I don't think I've ever reviewed before. Not because I didn't think this story was worth a review but because I think that any praise I give it is not enough!

Can't wait for the next update! Especially since they're now getting to the good stuff! ;)
