![]() ![]() Hi! I'm unable to log in at the moment, but I just wanted to drop a line and say this is the most beautiful piece of work I've read on here lately! I can't believe I've only just stumbled upon this, but well done, it's so nice and pretty. Every line I read had to be spoken out loud, you chose some beautiful words to go together. Even the title is gorgeous; 'Speaking Indigo'. thanks for the beautiful poem, Kim |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great use of alliteration. Really like the mood you created in this especially in the first section-such stillness. Keep writing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is lovely. Your imagery is wonderful and I enjoy your diction greatly. "I speak only truth in indigo" was beautiful, and you ended the poem with an excellent section. |
![]() ![]() ![]() wow I really really like this. all of the lines are just so beautifully crafted with great meaning and great description. i love "i emerge, eyelids encrusted with salt, shrieking for something profound." i would love opinions from a talented writer like yourself on my work, it would mean a lot! |
![]() ![]() ![]() beautiful job. great attention to specific details. i love the idea of a personal journey for meaning, and of course never being able to fully attain it. First part was my favorite, but the third and fourth were gorgeous as well. Favorited. |
![]() ![]() ![]() "I speak only truth in indigo" this resonates within me very, very deeply - you are a beautiful writer |
![]() ![]() ![]() I just love love love this. It feels like a series of photographs, old and faded maybe but full to the brim of emotion. This is just so beautiful and vibrant and real. I love the progression from a harmless search to maybe violent loss or just an unfulfilled conclusion-life is often like that. marie |
