I felt breathless :)

Very beautifully described scene you have written. The entire thing was quite mesmerizing.

The only problem is that there was not quite enough to the scene to make it complete. As it ended, I was not sure whether he had really killed someone, or whether it was only a play. I know it might be left up to the reader to decide, but as a whole, I would suggest defining it a little more, adding a little bit more plot to it, and extending it just enough to imply a little more that, if what I think is right, this is not just a scene in a play, but a play used as a cover for a crime.

But I do love your use of description. Very beautiful.

... Ooh.

Part of me wonders what's going on, and yet, I don't want to find out. It's lovely, leaving it just there.

Am I right in assuming the play is not actually a play? It's all real? (Oddly my mind flickers to the Theatre des Vampires in Anne Rice's series...)

A lovely little piece. Perhaps you intended it to be placed in modern day, and they are merely acting out a play set in the Victorian period, but I'm sorry, I'm going to pretend it's all in the Victorian period. Then I can think about Poe.

Simply lovely little piece. Bravissimo!

Wow! Very, very great!

Even without really knowing what's going on in the play, the particular scene and the descriptions- the descriptions and the details were just AMAZING, by the way- flowed together in a really cool way!

The ending was just amazing also, how his words were the last thing you wrote! It was really really good!
