Hands down the best fable on the site.

I begin my reviews with "Wow" too much. So I shall say: brilliantly genius.

Let me begin by saying that I thought there was nothing good in Fiction anymore. I truly was delighted to find your story, and I like the subtle feelings and meanings that shift beneath what is actually written.

The meaning seems so deep that it almost evades the reader unless one is really thinking and contemplating the story. I kept rereading this because it was truly amazing to hear the words in my head, and the meaning just grew and grew.

"It is easier to live dead..." so true. I really felt that this story was very touching and the lesson is great. Hiding emotions, hiding yourself away from life, feeling worthless...everything in this story, every word struck a chord in my soul.

"Life crumbles and a lone man is beneath it, but a real man lives in it."

You are my hero. Thank you for this story, worthy of my third favorite. Sorry for rambling so much.
