Love all the little character details, like how you describe Boo's father's looks that we can translate into the intended emotions. Great piece!

So exciting! I really hope it didn't take you three years to write part two because I'd like to read the next bit sooner than that. This is really a very inventive story. I lawled all over myself at the candyland part, and papa boogie gets me going too. And Boo...I need to try to draw him or something because he's really hard to picture right. the coloring i mean. But then again candyman is a hot blob of pink purple and green in my head. xD I hope you update soon!

Well, hot damn! I've been waiting for you to continue this for what seems like forever! (I'm not blaming you, I've taken a 2-yr break from my story as well). And can I just say... BRAVO! I love it! I was wondering where you were going with it... and checking back every couple months to make sure I hadn't missed anything :P. And this time it worked and there was a new chapter! And its almost Christmas! I love it! (even though I see it was posted in August... lol). But I sincerely love this, and I'm just astonished and amazed that you came back to finish it up. I don't know if I would have had the guts to take something this old and make it all brand new and spiffy again _. Hat's off to you, my friend.

Now comes my begging... Please finish it! I'd love to know how Oogie reacts, and if he goes to the Deadlands, and I'd love to see more of Boo's perspective!

Oh, my. This is so cute. I remember reading this years ago, and it was on my favourites list, so rereading it has been a real treat. I'm so glad it's not being left on the shelf. You have no idea how happy I was when I realized that, hello, there was a second chapter and wasn't that new? So happy!

The only thing I can think to advise you on is that there are several spelling typos in this chapter and the first. Just random things: using a word in the wrong order, mistaking certain words for different meanings, typos making one word something entirely different. So, watch what you're typing, or consider getting a beta to go over it and check for those mistakes. It happens to everyone, as I'm sure you know, but a fresh pair of eyes absolutely catches the little, stupid stuff we miss ourselves.

I really appreciate you taking the time to finish this, and, like I said, my heart is going to explode out of my chest and do a little dance because I'm so happy to see this back up and running. I always felt the ending of the first chapter was too dolour for the potential the story held.

I remember reading this one-shot a while ago. It's really cool that you're changing it into a story! Enjoying it and interested in seeing the next chapter.

Please update soon! I sort of have a bad feeling about Cane going to the Deadlands (I keep mentally calling it the badlands for some reason...), especially with the butler ghost floating around (he floats right?). Now that I'm on the topic of the butler ghost, I think he's just a nosy busybody that needs to learn to mind his own business and stop trying to live through Boo. Just because his wife killed him doesn't mean that Cane is going to "kill" Boo (Can you even kill a Boogieman?).

Sorry for the sudden rant, and I'm eagerly waiting for the next update!
