Reviews for The Man with the Spider Badge |

TMSantos chapter 5 . 8/9/2014 My heart feels heavy. I feel sad for Enid because she sees things in an entirely different way from the reality of Helmut's situation. Maybe I'm feeling this way because she's so innocent in that aspect and he did his best to explain his situation and impart wisdom to an eight year old kid. Thank you for this wonderful story. |
YasuRan chapter 5 . 12/5/2010 As I was reading, I couldn't help but think of 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas'. The titles are quite similar and so is the content to a point. I really loved the tenderness of this piece, which is important considering the story is written from a child's POV. Your attention to details is also a nice touch: the spider badge for instance. Despite the language being quite simple, you managed to convey everything that could be gauged from the setting and what the characters had to portray. I ended up feeling for Helmet just as much as Enid does. All in all, well done to you! Hope to see more, writing-wise :) |
Ambyy chapter 5 . 10/7/2010 aw! This story was so cute! I loved it. I wish that it continued so I could find out what Enid thought about it when she grew up! And what happened to kind 'Helmet'. |
Maia England chapter 5 . 2/23/2010 That's a sad ending! I hope he got out alive haha. This was a wonderful story :) Maia |
VitamViva chapter 5 . 1/30/2010 ...This brought me to story deserves much more reviews. When Enid grows up, I hope she won't regret making such a forbidden friend. Great story! |
