Reviews for Flame of Rome |

![]() ![]() ![]() *BANG, BANG, BANG* Oh, don't mind me, I'm just taking my anger out on my tablet. WHY MUST THIS HAPPEN! All the greats go down in history, one way or another. I would beg for you to repost, or better yet, publish, but I have no idea if you read these at all. I swear, I will hunt down the moron who decided to plagerize your story. No writer deserves that. |
![]() ![]() ![]() i keep rereading this one chapter. What age/era did u have in mind when u first wrote it? Love the details in this one especially at the first paragraph when u were discribing the petals, ppl and lia's feelings |
![]() ![]() ![]() ooooh this should be amazing :s hope to read it soon. |
![]() ![]() ![]() From the very beginning, this story has completely enthralled me. This is a world I'd really love to know more about, and I'm really disappointed I can't read more, but I'm planning on joining the LJ page soon. Hopefully I can be accepted. _ Still, thank you for a chapter that was a very, very good read! I was swept away from reality for a minute, something that I really needed today. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Eeeek! Vampires and Shapeshifters, oh my! It's like the Night World series, right? Yay! Hehe. I've only read Kiana Caelum's stories on fanfiction, and I've been longing for more similar supernatural stories. Yay! I love how this first chapter shows Lia's strong character and courage. The setting is also really unique, being in Rome and all. I'm eager to find out how this society and the supernatural society fit together. It's all so different and exciting! Hope to see more soon! :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() That's awful that people have plagirized! I can't stand plagarism. If your going to write a book - at least come up with your own ideas! . Anyways, I wish I would've gotten here before you deleted the Chapters off. It sounds interesting! Oh well. I understand your dilema for doing so, though. I hope that you bring plagirist to justice! Plagerizing is a BIG pet peeve of mine. Sincerly, Lonnee |
![]() ![]() ![]() absolutely loving it! hopefully I'll get accepted to PlagirismHaven so i can read the rest :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I don't like vampire stories, heck stephanie myer and hino-sensei have put me off. However I am a sucker for historical stories, and after reading the earlier first chapter of the stories left here, I've gotta say I'm really impressed. I didn't ever imagine a story of vampires in rome, and just reading this first chapter makes me think "silly me, it can work out and Myrika's probably one who could do it!" |
![]() ![]() ![]() I read this chapter again and again. Oh I wish you would publish your story. I would buy it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm quite new to fictionpress and this whole world, but I just wanted to let you know that I've read all which I possibly can of yours on this site, and I'm so intrigued I can barely stand it! I've seen so many people recommend you and your stories, so I had to see what all the fuss was about and your stories, even the 1 chapter here and there I've been able to read, have really pulled me in! I just wanted to let you know that even the tiniest bits of your writing really inspire me and make my imagination run wild with the possibilities :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is a very interesting start to what looks likes a very promising story, i have to say i'm intrigued. Your first chapter has provided a brilliant window into the world you've created in this story. I love the glimpse we've been given into Lia's character and even the brief appearance of Gaius Flavius Varro Magnus had the questions building up; who is this 'war hero'? what's with the animosity between the shape shifters and vampires? - how did the slavery begin and where do the two leading characters fit into it all? I would love to continue reading your story and while i am a first time reader and aware the chances of being accepted into the community on live journal are slim i thought i'd give it a shot and created an account anyway ] (ever the optimist) i wish you the best of luck in your writing |
![]() ![]() ![]() This one chapter, though it was the only one I'll ever be able to read, fascinated and captured me from the very beginning. This story of yours is so unique, different and NEW - it's hard for me to describe how good it really is. Though I believe you are very aware of that fact - and it's good that you are. The plot, the characters and everything else about this story screams 'interesting'. You've created a world no one's able to leave. You've created something no reader would ever want to give up. Lia's personality and history alone are enough to read every word with fascination. People who copy this - or any other, surely amazing, works of yours, destroy the respect they should have - and your trust in your readers. I hope from now on, no one will steal even one thing from your stories - which is nearly impossible due to the 'method's' you've used. I really hope you'll never give up writing. The talent you have should never be wasted. You truly are an amazing writer. ps: My name's Lia. |
![]() ![]() This is exciting! I mean the story, not the fact that you've stoped posting lol. Definetly want to continue reading though! :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well.. it seems my review was posted half-way. I'm not sure if that was a glitch or not.. but I went on to say that I've read some of your previous stories (before they were taken down) and immensely enjoyed them. I would've loved to read this one also. I'm not sure why anyone would plagiarize others.. for they must have no dignity... I hope you continue your passion and making others happy! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm quite disheartened by my assumption that I've been rejected to join the ph community to continue reading wonderfully written stories.. :'( (as it has been a few days from the time I applied to be accepted) I hate how plagiarism has pushed authors to this extent that stories must be posted on a different website. I must say I visit fictionpress more often than Livejournal... but I've made an account to become a member, and it seems my efforts were wasted. :/ Now I'm hoping the authors become published so that I can have some access to their writings... -_- |
