"Hands bundled up like pot roasts." This simile is absolutely gut-wrenching. 'Pot roasts' just soaks the reader in animalistic brutality.
"She wonders if she still has hair." Oh, the tone of this is phenomenal, and heart-breaking. The speaker's looking for her dignity.
A powerful, emotional story,

This is deeply fascinating. The beginning is very lyrical, and you have several strong verses. The second half has much more of a narration-type style to it, more storytelling aspects.
The actual story aspect of this is so strong, harsh, and brutal, and I liked the way that you ended it. Very nice piece. Keep up the good work.
