This was so cute and well written. Katy kind of reminds me of myself with the awkwardness and unmanageable hair. That's kind of why I stay out of water as much as possible. But, I digress. It was really well written, too.

I really enjoyed this story! I love the idea of swimming lessons and having an attractive guy save your life ;)

I just felt like the relationship between Katy and James was kind of underdeveloped. Katy said that he rarely talked to her, so it seems like they don't know each other that well. But I guess he's harbored a secret attraction to her? I'm probably missing something.
