I don't know how to express how much I love Jude and Astrid.

So much. They give me all the "awes" that come with seeing two people together, without the whole crappiness feeling people usually get when they're single, dealing with the couple.

I really don't know what to say about this chapter. It was very well-written. Bentham coming in made me laugh for a minute...the whole image of this college professor being so...disheveled and needing a drink...well...it just made me laugh.

Limits and Lines that are drawn, hm? Well, we'll see how strictly they are followed the next few chapters. I'm really looking forward to reading all about Stockholm!

I'm sorry you haven't had a good week :(. I must say that depressing times are the best for writing :D As is evident from the chapter.

Astrid's reaction to the news is totally and completely realistic. It makes her seem...like someone I'd like. Were she real, of course. She doesn't become one of the "OMIGOD IT'S HIM? HE'S THE GUY FROM-HOLY S*!" groupies. I like that about her. She's level-headed and cool about it.

Cam is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters. He's just so...quirky. I love it. I wish that I knew someone like that...sadly the closest I've come to true intellectuals would be my teachers...and none of them are as cool as he is.

Jude with a boombox over his head is a rather intriguing picture.

Poor Johan...please don't tell me he ends up broken-hearted. He makes me laugh, gigantor that he is.

I feel so smart. I saw the Pipe Smoking Rips thing on Jude's bag when they first met...in the library wasn't it? And I guessed :D.

Oh love. Eating Jude's insides, is it? Poor guy...not wanting the fame and all. You have done a good job with making his modesty real...he's /extremely/ humble for the lead singer of the band. I can totally see this causing trouble...screaming groupies and all...when the secret comes out.

From what I have read, I love it. Your characters are unique and interesting while the reader is still able to relate to them. I'm looking forward to the future chapters.

I did love this chapter. I was a little confused about that last paragraph, however. It seemed a bit out of place, like just out of nowhere the thought popped out. Does that make much sense? The chapter was lovely, and though I did understand it after a while, it just left me a little..."huh?"-ish. Maybe it's just the effect of this early-morning reading.

Mwahahahaha. My prediction has finally come to light! Maybe it's true, maybe it's not. We shall see. (It's not the upscale robberies bit either ;) ) Lots and lots of warm fuzzy feeling about Jude and Astrid in this chapter. Love it. So, Stockholm, huh? Sounds like it's going to be interesting! I can't wait to read all about it.

Of course Jude has to be all generous on top of being handsome, mysterious, kind, and absolutely lovely. I am so jealous of ms astrid at the moment. The way she takes his mysteriousness is a little intriguing, and different. I know that any regular girl would, by now, have either tried to weasel it out of him, or would have given up entirely. Lets see how long it takes before it really starts to bother her...if it does at all :D.

i'm so sorry! what a way to start a review, but i feel like i must apologize for not reading this fic sooner... it's great! and really interesting! at first when i saw the title of the fic, i was wondering if it was any good... and i was caught up with alot of stuff for uni that i just didn't really feel the need to read it. but then i saw your update/notice for "protected" and it just reminded me how much i enjoyed it. and so i decided to read this. and i'm seriously liking it!

my theory about it... i remember cynthia saying somewhere about her her brother, whose name is julian. but then theres a scene where jude and cynthia are in the same room, but cynthia doesn't acknowledge anything about it. there's a link between cynthia and jude, but i can't put my finger on it. are they siblings? probably yes and no.

of course, all the money jude has in his stash is from the gigs. but i don't understand why does he have to keep all this from astrid. is she going to kiss and tell? does he not trust her with a secret like that? or is there something deeper and darker about him that she doesn't know... perhaps its part of his band's strategy or motto of somesort? his sister tess is definitely in on this too. And does Cam know? most likely.

there are definitely little clues here and there, but i've yet to piece everything together - which is good, keeps the suspense going.

the woman on the phone - karen is it? thats probably their manager, i think.

like the word puzzles and anagrams by the way! it seems that i'm always learning something when i read your work. with 'protected' it was the russian words... and now anagrams. what a delight to read! :D

I got chills when reading this: “I'm searching for the right word. Just give me a moment.” It made me so very happy. Jude seems like the nicest guy, but obviously he has some secrets...very intriguing stuff here.

How is it that you get through an entire chapter with only one grammatical mistake? I couldn't do that if I tried. You must spend so much time on these chapters. Very very good work. The only thing I found in this chapter was a missing word...and I can't even remember where. I really like Tess and Mac. Tess is really easy to picture in my mind. That harsh English that smokes constantly and flounces around saying things like, "Cor, look at the arse on her!” and talking about "butt implants".

Cam is a great character. I have to say, the anagrams are an inspired and seemingly completely original idea! How did you come up with it? Sorry for the horrendous length of this review...:D
