Oh my God, I luv this story. it was just so cute and serious and sexy all rolled into one.

He stepped forward and spoke clearly and calmly. “Get your hands the fuck off my property.”

“Your property! What kind of man claims to love someone and then calls them property?” Travis’s mom spoke up, her voice high.

Daniel looked from one member of the family to the next before he spoke again. “Travis belongs to me. He’s my lover and my property.” He hissed out the last word. “If you don’t believe me, take a look at his ass and see who’s name is tattooed there.”

Wow, this story was really excellently done. I swear I spent the whole story squealing like a proper fangirl. I absolutely adore Travis and Daniel; I think theirs is one of my favorite character relationships on fictionpress.

You did an awesome job of juggling the third person POV so that it was never confusing which character "he" or "him" referred to, and you switched back and forth really smoothly between Daniel's and Travis' perspectives. That's something a lot of writers don't manage well, but you wrote it perfectly. For a story with as much drama as this one, you also avoided wallowing in the angst too much. I think you did basically a great job of balancing everything. Really wonderful story!

Hello! After my marathon-read, I must say I really enjoyed this. *smiles* I liked the character interactions and really liked the way that Travis changed throughout the entire thing and the subtle changes we saw in Daniel as well. Normally I don't go for relationships with the owner/owned feel but you pulled this one off nicely. There wasn't even a hint of the disparity that can often make those kinds of relationships unhealthy. This was just so sweet and sexy and just nice.

Somehow, I bet Daniel gets a phone now. *laughs* I must say, when Travis' family challenged Daniel on the whole 'property' bit, I was half hoping that Travis would jump in and drop his pants to SHOW the tattoo. *laughs* Oh, what would mommy and daddy think of that? While we're talking about 'mommy', the bit about when Travis whent to oh-what's-his-name to get the propery-of-tattoo, was so funny! I loved how they guy made assumptions based on his looks and how they were so unbelievably wrong! While I'm talking about bits I liked, I loved the Naked-Sean scene. *dies laughing*

While it may not have been super-complex or even super 'realistic' (you know everything was nice, convienicent and 'easy') but it was great. Kudos to you for a lovely and fun tale. :) Cheers!

I stumbled onto this story and read the whole thing within two hours, then I read it again.

This is, in my opinion, an amazing piece of writing. Considering the title of the story, I started reading assuming it would be about a kind of sub / dom relationship. Needless to say, I was surprised, and pleasantly so. You did an absolutely wonderful job.

That was a bittersweet experience to read, though I think the that ending was perfect!

Loved Daniel not only coming to Travis' rescue but also declaring him his property to his family. xD I lol'd 'n' loved the 'if you don' believe me, take a look at his ass' line! Damn, and Travis is adorableness personified. I'm so gad he finally freed himself from his family and got his man in the end, and that Daniel finally got someone who thoroughly deserved him. And Rafe and the band are just phenomenal friends for them to have!

lmoa, "something about the tattooed man just screamed psychopathic mad-man." I think that was my favorite line. Oh, that was great. I really hope you do a story about Rafe. With lots of funny parts.
