![]() ![]() ![]() Glad to see that both Syd and Sean got over the weirdness of movie night. Although now it is replaced by the apparent ust between them and awkwardness that causes lol. Good to hear that things will be heating up in the story soon, I can't wait :) I think Syd just seriously needs a kick up the ass so that she can get over this phobia of getting hurt again (which I think is really her problem, rather than of commitment & jumping straight into a serious relationship again). Side note: I love Chuck's shirts and wish I could actually own some of them :P |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved it. Your chapters are always fantastic. I actually enjoy the tension. While I just want them to get to it sometimes, I know that it will be so much better since they've been waiting so long. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hahahahaha. "Mind if I push in your stool?" I pooped (no pun intended) when I read that. Oh, the tension between Sydney and Sean, I loves it. The more I read, the more excited I get more and more excited for when "stuff heats up", as you say. I hate every single chapter I put out too. When I write I just think "this chapter blows" and then I write the next and I'm like "well, that last one was good compared to this." We're all our own worst critics, I suppose. GAH! Very excited for the next chapter! Thanks for the update. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lol, This story took awhile to read :) Can't wait til next chappie! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm still upset that the dream wasn't real...and that it ended up being Adam in the end...gross! :-) A DATE? REALLY SEAN? What the F is your problem, dude? Haha, no, just kidding. I love/hate his obliviousness, although now I think he might have it figured out for sure - Sydney was mean to him! Not mean, but you know... she was obviously upset. Any clueless dude could have seen that. His little sad "Of course you don't care if I go on a date" made me want to pat his back and tell him it's all going to be okay. Anyway, if he doesn't cancel this date with skankbag Rebecca I'm going to be really mad. :-) Can I say skankbag in a review? What if he ends up like...dating...this Rebecca girl? No. No, no, no. Just erase that idea out of your brain. I need Sydney/Sean love and I need it now, dammit! I love Chloe - she's fun. "If I learned anything from Saved By the Bell Malibu Sands..." LOL! Summer flings with the hotel owner's daughter are always good. (what?) BUT SEAN would NOT be a summer fling because apparently everything about him is PERFECTION...except his obliviousness...and they will live happily ever after for many summers after this one. RIGHT? Oh geez. I'm having a mental conflict. All I know is, I need some lovin' soon or I'm going to rip my hair out in frustration, dammit! Me likey this chapter...but I'd like it more if there was another one posted after it. :-) HINT HINT. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Fast update! Excellent. I'm glad that you didn't have them kiss. That means that this story will be going on for a bit longer! Which, to me, is great. I can't say enough how much I love this story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aw...poor Sydney... She just has really bad luck with guys... but we all know that Sean secretly likes her... Can't wait for more... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, I am in love with your story! Your writing and plot are like a breath of fresh air. A more 'emotionally mature' and realist approach, if you will, which is what keeps drawing me further and further in :) I like how you are pacing the developing relationships as well (though before I realised it was a dream sequence, you had me thinking for a fleeting moment Sean was a bit of a perve, lol. Sneaky you :P). I also have a sneaking suspicion that Adam is eventually gonna pop back up (seeing as he is apparently all mopey and sad as well), just don't know when. Keep it up! (btw, how much of an old fart am I that I actually remember when that Saved by the Bell Malibu Sands season aired lol!) |
![]() ![]() This is one the best stories I've read in a while:) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yes, you are cruel, but not so much because you didn't let them kiss. I agree that its too early for that too...or at least for a kiss that steamy. But you are definately cruel for sending him out on a date. I'm so disappointed in him. LOL. I can totally see myself having the same reaction as Sydney and telling him to forget driving me home, I'd walk. It seriously reminded me so much of me! And this time I got the reference in there, the Saved By the Bell one. That was the one with Stacey Karosi, wasn't it? Something like that. Next time you have such a boring day, please feel free to write more. K? Thanks! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ok, Super Fudge? No idea. lol. Love the little "date" with Sean. Good excuse for Sydney and Sean to get closer to each other without admitting their attraction. More please. |
![]() ![]() ![]() At least I know I'm not the only one who used to reread their favorite little romantic parts of a book. You write your characters so real. I love it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() OMG I love this so much it's not even funny. Sean and Sydney are absolutely hilarious when they get together, man. The "witty banter" (I just love saying that) is so irresistibly good. I thought the dialogue in this chapter was some of your best yet! SUPER FUDGE! I remember checking out all of those Fudge books from the library in elementary school. The whole "you're old" thing made me laugh. They are just too much fun together, I'm telling you! and LMAO. CHUCKLES! That's the best thing I've ever read. Chuck is Chuckles...that's the perfect name for him. I don't know why but I laughed out loud for a good minute at that one. CHUCKLES! Lol. :-) Oh, and I totally hate you for leaving out the googling in this chapter. COME ON, don't they know each other well enough arleady? LOL. just kidding. You know how I feel about the SEXUAL TENSION. Yes that needed to be in all caps for some reason. This is getting too good for you to not update every day, so yeah...just drop everything and write. And by everything I mean EVERYTHING. The husband, the baby, the job...lol just kidding! :-) "Please ma'am, I'd like some more." |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wonderful as always. And, yes, I remember Super Fudge and Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing and all those other books that were so popular in the 80s and 90s when I was a kid. It does make me feel old, though. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ohmigaawd. I absolutely love Sean. He's adorable and I just want them to get together already! Their dialogue in this chapter made me smile. They are just too darn perfect for each other. Also, I liked how Sydney actually admnitted to why she was feeling what she was feeling about Adam. Just that small discussion was heart-breaking. But Sean made it all better by being sweet. Aw. Anyway, I love your writing, your characters, and this story! You just make your characters seem so real so it's easy to think of them as actual people. I always look forward to when you update. Oh and Super Fudge, loved the reference. I used to read that and Tales of the Fourth Grade Nothing when I was in grade two. That's all I read that year (that and Ramona). Over and over. Although, it had already been out for about thirteen years by then so I don't feel quite so old. Sorry this is so long. Can't wait for the next chapter. |
