I was so happy to see that you updated. It was quick! And I'm sure not complaining about the length. Jeez, Sean and Sydney are darn cute! I love how you're developing their relationship. Gah, I just love everything about this story. Chuck is adorable. Once again, you really are a fabulous writer. Thanks for the update.

Oh, and I figured out what it is about your writing style that I like so much. It's the balance that you have...not too much background info but enough for us to grasp the story, good dialogue, and really unique characters that hold their own. It's good stuff and i LIKE IT. :-)

I decided to check this story out since I like Route 66 so much and you mentioned the When Harry Met Sally reference (totally my favorite movie!) and so far I'm not disappointed! I absolutely love the last part of this chapter - "I had accepted his apology quite willingly and it was only many, many years later when he left me three months before our wedding when I realized that he really should have stayed to help me pick up the mess he’d created." I think this line is absolutely brilliant! It's such a great way to set up the story.

This is a great start, for sure. I love that her parents own a book store...lucky duck! How awesome would it be to have all those books at your fingers for free!

Anyways, I'm very curious as to why Adam left Sydney and what exactly is going to happen...

Oh, and strangely enough the latest story I'm working on is about a girl coming back to her hometown after being away for a while... we must really be brain twins or something! We're on the same wavelength. :-)

I love movie references. So, to me at least, it is not lame. Again, as I did with the rest, I thought this chapter was great! You really are a fantastic writer. I'm excited to see the development between Sydney and Sean and I like the relationship that's developing with Amy and Sydney, it's cute. You best get writing because I don't know how long I can wait for the next update without getting anxious. Haha. Anyway, once again, awesome job!

I really, really like this story. I think you're an excellent writer. It's funny and realistic and I like how Sydney's reaction to the break-up is not too melodramatic. She's sad but she's getting on with life and realizing that Adam probably wasn't the best for her. I'm excited to see where the rest of this goes. I hope you don't get discouraged from the lack of reviews. I find that people on this site are a little review shy. Your story is great and I can't wait for the next chapter! Keep up the awesome work.
