I think you meant "single" not "singe".

Though short, this poem has much meaning. I'm not sure if I'm interperating it correctly, but I think it's saying to have your own mind and to not just go along with what everyone says/does.

Or maybe it's saying that the speaker is really beautiful inside, and people just have to give her a chance.
