Wow, wow, wow! I can't believe this didn't get any reviews yet! This story is fantastic! I really liked the surreal feel to the dance, and man, when the last paragraphs came into play, I was hooked. This would be a great multi-chapter story, if you ever thought of continuing it. This pseudo-Nate thing really seems like a malevolent stalker, and it's hard to tell if he really likes her, or if he just wants to mess with her, to break her. Good character development here, and good description. The dialogue is very real. Great job! I'm gonna add this to my alerts in case you continue this (and you should!).
