Oh, how wonderfully dramatic.
I love this stanza:
Your muscles disassemble,
a puzzle, undone:
and unsolved again.
| Faithless Juliet chapter 1 . 9/5/2009
Your title matches very well with the poem itself. Nice work.
You give such subtle hints of personality in this; laying in luke-warm bathwater, fixing the flowers on the sill. All of the little things that make up a person’s self and daily routine.
I like how you didn’t go too graphic, but I still knew what was going on throughout. Nice job, the ending in particular was very strong as well.

Very gritty, but I like it. I like how you tell a story in your poems, give the words a voice that's incredibly believable. There is something very sad about this story. Brilliantly done.

I've really missed reading the stories you tell in your poems - they're real, in a gritty, "in your face" sort of way. And that's the kind of thing suitable for reading when it's this early in the morning and I have yet to go to sleep. Take care.
