His mother is a complete bitch! Too bad there is no one who can kick her ass. Now that Alix got his site back he's going to be even better at fighting after he practices of course. I can't wait ubtil they go back and the turth about Jan's dick-of-a father and that whore Alana comes out.

Not to flame or anything but in all honesty the bemoaning at the beginning and end of every chapter sounded like a teenage girl.

I like this story, I do so I didn't mean that as a flame ( (I wouldn't of held on if I didn't).

I don't know If I've ever told you this, but the Elves make me think of Blood Elves from World of Warcraft.

Well, not the whole betrayal part, but just Alix's fierce devotion. I don't know that just seems really sweet to me. xP

Loving the story; it seems like it's wrapping up. Is this an accurate thing to assume? And I like how you're doing past/present swaps; it gives the reader a little more information.

I just found this story. I was interested by the back and forth perspective, the foreshadowing and the flashes of the future.

I only have a few problems with the story.

Some of the language seems out of place. Too modern or out of place for a fantasy story.

My second problem?

I want another chapter.

OMG I thought Jan wouldn't make it in time or at all. I wonder how Alix will react when he sees his mother and his father and apparently his siblings.

Aw, reunited at last! I guess Alix is finally going to meet his papa and his mama's got some explaining to do...should be interesting. The memory snippets at the end of the chapter were a bit confusing at first but it was still a great chapter.

Gotta be honest...I was a little confused by the second half of that chapter but...I think it was Alix's life flashing before his eyes before he succumbed to death, or near-death, yes?

I dunno.
