A Star In Her Eye chapter 11 . 2/13/2010
I feel so bad for her. I can feel her pain. The last part was nicely done, with the have and the had.

Question: Can you like someone you don't really know?

I think you can feel some kind of connection (or chemistry) with a person you don't know particularly well, but I don't think you can really, truly like them, because you don't know what kind of person they are.

Question: Have you ever gone through what our MC experienced in this chapter?

Unfortunately, yes. I remember that kind-of-sad feeling when I found out the guy I liked got a girlfriend over summer break. It wasn't devastation or anything that bad, but more like disappointment, I suppose.
A Star In Her Eye chapter 10 . 2/13/2010
I loved the part where Bryant's like, everyone dreams of me. Cute. Arrogant, but cute. He seems like such a nice kid though, so probably not actually arrogant, which is refreshing for a FP male lead.

Question: Do you think you're confident?

Depends on the setting and the company. If I'm in unfamiliar territory with new people, then not so much. But if I'm with people I know relatively well, I'm pretty confident and self-assured. Or if I'm in a place that I'm comfortable with, then I tend to be more confident and outgoing.
A Star In Her Eye chapter 9 . 2/13/2010
I like the idea of clothing representing a little bit about who you are. I think it's true, to some point.

Question: What is your favorite part of Christmas?

Everything. The lights, a decked-out tree, gifts, a break from school, snow, hot cocoa, the giving spirit, family, friend... the whole thing!

Question: Is Bryant right? Does your clothing indicate bits of your personality? Can you sometimes judge a book by its cover?

He's a little right. I think people dress according to their mood and sometimes, their clothing has a lot to do with the kind of personality they want to project - not necessarily who they are. That said, I do not believe that you can ever judge a book by its cover, just because people are too complex and have too many layers. I feel like you can know a person your entire life and still be surprised by them - so judging someone based off only their appearance would probably lead a person to be VERY, VERY surprised if they ever got to know that person.
A Star In Her Eye chapter 8 . 2/13/2010
I loved this chapter. Bryant was really sweet to apologize about the incident. And I would've totally cried if that were me too. I hate being singled out by teachers like that.

Question: What's your all-time favorite Halloween costume?

A bag of popcorn.
A Star In Her Eye chapter 7 . 2/13/2010
I kind of like how Bryant is a little distant and aloof. Makes him interesting.
A Star In Her Eye chapter 6 . 2/13/2010
Wow, Nicole was a little harsh there. Understandable, because she was nursing a broken heart, but you know.

Question: How do you know if/when you like (like) someone?

You just do. You just get that feeling. It's when you keep thinking about someone, wondering what their hobbies, likes/dislikes, etc. are and when you worry about impressing them.
A Star In Her Eye chapter 5 . 2/13/2010
Aw, a shooting star.
A Star In Her Eye chapter 4 . 2/13/2010
"I try not to be a jerk. Company policy." I love this line. Pure gold.

Question: What's the most daring thing you have ever done?

Ah... can't think of anything! But good question. I'll be thinking about this for a while now.
A Star In Her Eye chapter 3 . 2/13/2010
I really like how you're taking it slow with the characters and allowing something to develop with time - I actually dislike when writers rush things, because it becomes hard to believe at that point.

Question: Do you tend to sink into deep denial or tell friends immediately?

Neither... I usually know when I like someone and I tend to embrace almost immediately. The thing is, I generally hold off on telling friends about the crush for a few weeks, just because I want to make sure that I truly like the guy and his personality and it's not just me thinking he's cute.
Narq chapter 22 . 2/13/2010
Oh~ I got mentioned! thank you so much :D

But I'm going to be mean now. I realised that this chapter consisted of either only dialogue, or only the msn chats, or only her thoughts. It would be nice if you could some how mush these up together, so it flows better? Do you get what I mean? because now it feels like she's doing one thing at a time and women are infamous of multitasking, right? :)

I felt that Bryant was okay. As long as you can show that he can also be masculine, I think there will be balance.

Another great chapter. The little conversation between them was adorable and a little awkward, which was perfect. And I loved the banter between her friends Shina and Erica.

Question: Is it better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all?

This is such a tough question. People always say it's better to have loved and lost, but I disagree. I don't know if this is me being idealistic, but I love the idea of everyone having a "one true love" and I feel like if you find that person and then lose that person, it'll be one of the worst lows of all time, you know? In the sense, that you know what it's like to be happy with them and knowing what you're missing is going to hurt a lot more than not knowing what you're missing. Does that make any sense... I hope it does.

I just feel like, if you never love someone or find that person, at least you don't have such a good idea of what you're missing. You can go on, hopeful and optimistic that you'll find that person, while finding happiness in other aspect of your life. On the other hand, if you have that person and then lose them, you'll have a very clear idea of what you're missing and also, you'll have to relearn how to be happy without them. And furthermore, I think someone like that might not be optimistic about finding another person to love or maybe they won't even want to.

So, personally, I just feel like option 2 is better, but at the same time, neither option is all that great.

I know I'm a bit late in reviewing this, but better late than never! Let me first just say, I like the set-up of this story.

Question: Do you believe in love at first sight?

I don't know. Kind of, but not really... which is a horrible answer, I know. I think that sometimes, you can just see a person and they'll immediately intrigue/interest you. I've had that happen and for whatever reason, whenever I have that experience and then have the opportunity to actually talk/interact with that person, I usually end up liking them (platonically or romantically).

So, I feel like, you could meet the love of your life and immediately feel like "Oh, this person seems special, I want to meet them" but I don't think you could actually fall in love with a person after only seeing them. I have no clue if that made any sense, but I hope it did!

Hey! So I'm sorry I haven't really been reviewing much / I still like this story, though! It's a little hard for me to follow sometimes with all the broken parts, but it's kind of neat that way too, I like the style :) Anyway, I wanted to tell you that this was a really cute chapter, & congrats on being nominated for SKoW! I'll try to be better about reviewing!
All Over You chapter 22 . 2/13/2010
i like the fact that they get to know each other without him knowing what she looks like. it's different. a refreshing change.

excellent chapter as always, my friend.
anonymous chapter 22 . 2/13/2010
have you read works by pixydizzy or fairiesandsnapple? some of your writing is a little too reminiscent of them. you have a strong and beautiful voice but it's unnerving to read lines that seem all too familiar...
