do i believe in love at first sight?

why not. :)
CaveDwellers chapter 22 . 10/6/2010
wow. It almost feels like I'm reading a story about myself. It's kind of scary, actually. I mean, I've never gotten close to a guy over IM because I started putting notes into his box or anything, but the MC's feelings and fears, her thought process and her philosophical stance-I can relate. Most times I think like the italicized story-snippets in between the scenes, with all of those fragments and descriptions. Then I actually write and the grammar is mostly correct, there are hardly any fragments, and I feel like I'm reading something less emotional and more scientific.

It's beautiful that I can relate to Ella, truly. I'm sure I'm not the first to have said this.

The prose has nice flow, and the way the characters talk to each other is very accurate for high schoolers. Their highs and lows are almost exactly where they should be. I love how you actually SHOW Bryant and Ella getting to know each other, instead of merely mentioning it in passing, like most writers. However, I am wondering if Ella and Rick's conversations on IM always start off the same on purpose?

'Til next,

obsessed with music chapter 13 . 8/17/2010
I love this story. It really struck me hard because it made me realize so many things. Usually i hate this kind of girl because i feel they are so fake cool like they try to be cool by be pretending to be antisocial and antilove. To make excuses for themselves and its all a mask. But the character never realize it but in this story she is. And then i realized that i got so into the story because this girl reminded me so much of me. I wear the same mask she does except i slip sometimes so it's like i have so many faces and your story is very good. Your character has flaws and she's developing and learning and it's refreshing to read.:)
Uncle Rupert chapter 13 . 6/28/2010
You asked 'what is love?'

Love is the moment two people truly connect.

Love is the way a mother cares for her child

Love is the way a father proudly cheers his childern on in sport events.

Love is the screaming rant of where were you followed by the hug of thank god your home.

Love is checking under the bed for monsters that aren't there.

Love is the kiss on the knee after a fall.

It's not silly looks alone, it's actions because cliche' as it is, action speak louder then words.

love isn't just one thing it is everything wrapped up in one. fear, anger, saftey, happiness, they all incompance what it means to be one, to be in love.

now i feel like the corny-est person in the world - darn you ;p

Uncle Rupert chapter 11 . 6/28/2010
'Did you know that red is the color of love and passion and heat (and hearts) and energy and luck and attraction? But did you know that it's also the color of danger and error and cold stop-sign metal and pain and anguish and warnings?' -

If only she realised the colour before red, the flaming orange warning, the big neon sign that says proceed with caution, but alas, hearts are such slippery foolish things, they roll through our fingers like water and sand

lol hows that for a dramatic review. sorry i feel i need to sleep soon if in asap.

p.s wow angsty ending on this chapter.

Uncle Rupert chapter 4 . 6/28/2010
I loved the bit about the smile/grin. it was beautifully written. can i ask a question? Not to be rude but why such a jump in the writting style. i love the in depth bit about the smile but when you have the friends talking there is no depth to it, the characters, tho witty are just canvas's on a page, you need to make them art - like 'mona lisa's smile' lol look i made a witty pun lol now that is a rareity yet to be seen of the liks of man. back to the point, do you get what i mean? there is an awrkardness to the way you write the relationship between the friends, it's good but a tiny more detail could make this brilliant, it's like icecream without the milo on top (chocolate topping if you'd preferr ;p), ice cream is good but that milo maks it that much better. dear god, i am using food as an example, somebody hit me...:)
Counting Petals chapter 22 . 6/27/2010
It's been so long since I've read this story, but now I'm finally caught up and remembering how much I love it! I'm really distressed that there aren't any more chapters for me to read, and I really hope you update again soon.
