Reviews for Personal Bias
N.M.E chapter 1 . 7/10/2009
Wonderful and sweet! It was very nice. And the reason as to why they hated each other was fantastic and very much believable. And it was actual hate. Not some 'I actually loved you all along but pretended to hate you.' Just according to the guidelines. But are you sure you didn't exceed the word limit? But anyway! I loved it! All the best with the contest!

fairy Eva chapter 1 . 7/8/2009
Oh god. This was AMAZING. Super transition from hatred to love without being cliched or stupid. Honestly. I LOVE this story. And good luck with the contest, I've got my fingers crossed for you, for sure!
Pinkamoo chapter 1 . 7/8/2009
You are a fantastic writer! I really love your style and all the descriptions and the humour. Just, everything, really. It reads as very well thought out and written. It's also as the competition asks for - very realistic! I can totally see this happening in real life.

I loved this story, so pat yourself on the back, eh? ;)
Lauranthalsala chapter 1 . 7/6/2009
Oh wow, that was magnificently cute :)

stupedous :)...

Damn that Mr. Dryer. I like him a lot... and I respect Kevin for admitting his wrongs.

Amazing. I loved this story a LOT :)
Edoran chapter 1 . 7/6/2009
AH! SO GOOD!

I love this, so real, so cute.

I loved that this was not pure romance, and yet it came through in the end.

Liked the small touches (ie: realism in the work place, bursting into tears on the phone, wearing an "at home" outfit, etc...). I dont read many one-shots, i'm usually a sucker for longer more drawn out works, but this is the type of short story that makes me change my mind once in a while. :) Im definitely a fan of your writing!

Also, just so you know, I went to check out your writers blog but couldnt access it.

Hope you keep writingand posting at FP!

JamieBell chapter 1 . 7/5/2009
Brilliant story. Absolutely brilliant. Charming, sarcastic, witty, intelligent, insecure, *human* characters! Loved that you didn't resort to flashbacks to tell the backstory. Loved that they were both to blame for their animosity. Loved that you brought actual careers into the story and made their work believable. Loved that even though the apology came quickly, the friendship took time. Loved that it was a "little in love," rather than outright (even though we all knew it). Loved that I could believe it could happen! One of the best stories I've read in a long time! Thank you. :)
Irrationallyrational chapter 1 . 7/5/2009
I'm not usual intrigued by one shots but this was really well done. I loved it. D
Shooting Star chapter 1 . 7/5/2009
I love your writing style, it really is amazing. The way you develop the romantic tension is really well done. Loved this one shot!
crackatoa chapter 1 . 7/4/2009
Excellent! This is one of the best one-shots I've read in quite a while. I really like your writing style.
Kjersti chapter 1 . 7/4/2009
Sweet story. I loved it. :) I wish you had put in some of the editing process in between the first meetings and the end, though. As it was, most of the story revolved around their intense dislike for each other, so the ending seemed a bit sudden and abrupt. Good story, though. :)
noirsakura chapter 1 . 7/4/2009

this has to be one of the best one-shots i've ever read!
