Total cliche yes. But I didn't think the build-up was all that good. It fell a little flat for me in the end because I kept going like "Whoa man, if my boyfriend had left me there to be almost-raped just because he didn't trust me or my love in him enough, there is NO WAY IN THE BURNING PITS OF HELL OR THE LOVELY GARDENS OF HEAVEN that I would get back with him. EVER. Even if I was in love"

Also, I kept wondering WHY DIDN'T MICHAEL JUST TELL SPENCE THE TRUTH? 'I'm lazy' IS NO EXCUSE.
