This was not my first read of the story. During my fictionpress binges I find myself rereading this wonderful one shot time and time again. I would LOVE a small little sequel to this! I’m so curious!

What I liked about this character was how strong Marianne was. Yes, I wasn't really happy that she went back to her boyfriend, but I realized how hard it is for an abusee to actually get away from their abuser. And, I think that deep down she knew that it wouldn't work for her and Steve but she seems like the type of person who puts in all the effort she can before she actually gives up. I loved the way you developed the relationship between her an Anton. They both had two very distinct personalities that intertwined very well together! Good job! :)

It is good that she had someone to run to. It is even better that he doesn't intend to let her go again. The title "the cleaner" made me think that he might "clean" this problem.

I don't know that the M rating was necessary. T would have been sufficient.

I absolutely LOVE this oneshot. I've been reading it over and over. You develop the characters so well and I truly love how it ends. Of course I wish there was more to it, but you developed the plot very well. Nice job! :)

This story is really touching. I love the way you portray Anton! I wouldn't exactly say he's cute (LOL), but you write him exactly how he should be. Strong. Stable. Just what Maria needs.

Very sweet story. Quite well written and you conveyed the idea of the domestic abuse very well without the actual description of the events. You had me at "Russian Accent"- I'm a total sucker for one :P I liked the strength of the female character as well- just pitiful enough to believable be in such a situation without actually being pathetic. I look forward to reading more of your work!
