I'm not familiar with the characters, but that didn't really detract from reading it because it was pretty well-written.

I remember this FFX song, I like it a lot. It kind of fits rain, though I'm not sure about thunderstorms..

Anyway. Really, I like the way you take the reader through the piece. Vincent's innocence is balanced and analyzed pretty well through Al's older eyes. I'm curious to see where this goes, though these things tend to be one-shot..
