I could say it's strange how much a simple word can mean so much to a person, and how different people's thoughts of them can be, but it makes a lot of sense.

That is a bit odd, that none of them are gay, though I suppose they could just be more discreet about it. It could just be a matter of privacy, if they are hiding it...

okay, so I'm so far behind... I have a lot to catch up on. I'll try to be coherent at least.

The teen age mind does tend to exaggerate, except in the cases where it doesn't and they do something stupid and the consequences are so much worse...

I followed a rec to this story, not sure if I'd like it because of the kids. I've come across a lot of stories that I would have otherwise liked, if there weren't children in them. I suppose I am picky about the way children are portrayed or something and too often they get in the way of the story instead of adding to it. Anyways, that was all rather unnecessary to mention, except that it really illustrates how much I liked your writing. I adored the kids, they really made the story. I liked the way you made sure they each had their own personalities. In fact, that is one of my favorite things about the way you write. So many characters, but none of them are cookie cutter people, and you make them all so likable. I was pretty much in love with every character. So much so that I stayed up two days straight reading the whole thing. :) This wasn't really a review, more of "wow you are so awesome, I love you, I was so happy, but sad, to see the ending". And the Vic and Luke oneshot was lovely, I was so happy when I got to the end and found out you were writing more for them! Ah, I know there were other things I really wanted to say, but I am in desperate need of a nap now, and have forgotten what they were. It was a lovely lovely story, thanks so much for writing and sharing!
