Aw what a nice way to end the story :D All our characters gathered together for a short, poignant scene. I can safely say, this story has been fantastic! I have enjoyed every chapter, and I apologise there has been long gaps in my reading (life's been pretty hectic unfortunately!) I cannot wait to read more of your work, you're so talented! Give yourself a pat on the back, this is fantastic. Luke

So sorry for neglecting this story! I feel ashamed! I am going to finish it now, so here goes... This chapter was pure awesome! Your ideas are so original, and I loved the last line! I'll give you a more in depth review once I've read the epilogue. Luke

Sorry this is so late, I'm so rude! I've been so busy because my work has given me loads of extra hours for christmas *groan*. This was brilliant and beautiful as usual. A few revelations and explanations here, but somehow you instilled a poignancy. Mentions of the Silver River and Algol make me shiver... I can't wait for more - this is so gripping! Luke

Nice beginning, I' a sucker for vampires in cages, XD. I like how you balance Ash's faults and put them right at the beginning. During the first part I'm really intrigued regarding the "Drawing Board" theme. That sounds really unique, looking forward to learning more. I also like the subtle mention of things that happened before, like the Festival, so far, there's a really good balance here with the back story-something I know you're very good at.
Wow, second part, totally creeptastic. I love the interaction between Ash and the vampiress, and the way he calls her those enduring pet names adds to his characterization. Also, propelling me yet again into "what's going to happen" mode, XD. This is so inspiring, I'm so far very still intrigued!

Well, not a whole lot to say with this review, other than you've got me interested. I like how you played on the idea of a lawyer being non-human. I also liked your summary so I think my interest will only increase-I have no idea why I haven't started on this story before now! Looking forward to it!

Gosh it's been a while, I'm so sorry! I've started a part time job as well as my school studies, so I'm quite busy at the moment. Nice to return to this though :) The highlights for me were the opening, the dream sequence was beautifully described. The ending was great too, whenever Naeve is possessed a chill comes over me... I truly cannot wait till next time! Your story is so compulsive, if only I had more time :( Great work! Luke
| Frayling0 chapter 46 . 11/16/2009
I was looking forward to seeing how you continued after that emotion packed last chapter! I presumed Naeve was dead, but I'm relieved to see otherwise :) Mentioning Ahrinar gives me the shivers... but you put in a little fuzzy ending there haha. Can't wait till next time! Luke
| Frayling0 chapter 45 . 11/13/2009
Gosh, I could barely wait to carry on with this after the superb cliffhanger last time! What a gripping chapter, I was desperate to get to the end, and what an END! She can't be dead... :S Well, it was brilliant emotionally and descriptively. The simplicity of falling rain against her body - great work! I cannot wait for more. Superb! You're a very talented writer. Luke

Sorry I haven't read for ages... I've been writing my new story, and an insane load of history essays have come my way at school o_O. So it's awesome to finally relax and return to this lovely tale :D. And what a chapter to return on! Loved the stuff about the stars, and the silver river is a really unique idea - you have a great imagination. As if Ash didn't have enough problems Naeve is now possessed. Wow I think next chapters gonna be interesting :D Thanks for writing such a brill story! Luke

What can I say? Fantastic story that keeps getting better. Real, believable characters. Crisp, witty dialogue. Vivid thoughts. Publish this Sophie! Luke

I checked back on this story and found out that it was finished! asflkasjdlf
I was like, "Wait, shwat?" Haha.
Sorry for not reviewing earlier!
I basically sat here and re-read a lot of this story to get back into it. Really, really good writing. :)
I don't know why I fail so much at reviews, but I have to say again, great word choice and great plot and great imagination. (Apparently I fail at finding adjectives too.)
I haven't mentioned this before, but you also have a feel for the level of drama. Some people don't have enough drama, and some people get so dramatic I can almost hear the slow-mo music in my head, but yours is just right.
I really liked the ending. It was cozy and happy.
Be proud of yourself for finishing another story! I'm so impressed by how much and how fast you write. Congratulations!

Yay I'm back. Great chapter - rise and fall of Ash (no pun intended). You do his emotions so well, and the ending was... bitter sweet in a way. I wonder what will happen next...? Great work as always! Luke

Sorry this is a bit late, been really busy. I love returning to your story though, it pulls me right into the world of drawing and wolves! A nice transitional chapter, and I seriously think that ending was awesome... and just a little bit creepy! Great work! I'll try read more over the next few days, can't wait :) Luke

I won't speculate on the possible symbolic connection here between the porcupine and Ash, but I can tell you that this was a very satisfying conclusion to your latest, and hopefully not last, installment of this series.
The range and diversity (and quality!) of your work here on this website has been most impressive and I eagerly await your next story.
