Reviews for Ravenwood
JWood chapter 9 . 1/9/2010
I'm really curious what this story is about. I thought the little girl was her but apparently she's rebecca. Wonder what happened to her. I'm guessing the little boy is crow boy, right? I can't wait for the next chapter. This is so intriguing.
youwillneverguess chapter 2 . 12/31/2009
It's funny, as I'm reading this, I'm staring at the giant pile of clothes on my floor that my mum is nagging me to clean up. But instead of unpacking, I have to pack. I'm leaving for America tomorrow (just a trip, not to live). My mother gets home in about, say, half an hour, and will decapacitate me if I haven't started. I was just thinking, "just 'til the end of the chapter, just 'til the end" but your chapters are so incredibly long!

(It works for your story, though. It's a good thing.)

I love your writing! It is carefully constructed, but laid-out simply, so it flows and is easy to read. I spotted a few grammatical errors over the first two chapters (I'm anal like that) but apart from that, I don't think there is much I can critisize.

Since I'm only on chapter two, I haven't reached any major hints to the plotline yet, except for maybe the story about the girl and the boy, and the suspense is killing me, but i'll read more and review when I have time!

Keep writing though, please; I absolutely love this!

Great chapter...:)

The town sounds perfect on the surface, yet underneath, perfects currents of something more sinister? Lovely detail.

And Jayme, clearly daddy's girl of the family, his favorite. I am interested to see how that plays out as I have a feeling there is more to that than meets the eye.

The crow on the window...nicely done. Would have creeped me out :)

Becca88 chapter 9 . 12/26/2009
I liked how the Raven Guy was 'What do you call me in your mind?' Geez, what an ego. And the poison ivy line? Ha!

The last italic parts are adding up to something very interesting. Please, please update soon!

Thanks, and Happy Holidays!
Jordan Baines chapter 9 . 12/26/2009
Things are starting to fit together now - the little end parts with the rest of the current-day storyline. This time we got names. I wonder where Crow Boy fits in.

Please DO NOT wait so long to update again! I love the suspense you're building.

Oh, and yeah, Ben-Hur - a little light reading, eh?

Guy in the lighthouse is the grabby sort. He sure was friendly, like a stranger with candy.

Good chapter. Looking forward to more soon.
Becca88 chapter 7 . 10/27/2009
This guy at the lighthouse is so creepy, and he just takes her stuff? Liberties... She should run. The kids at the end, I know they work into this, but they are so intriguing.
