Reviews for shooting stars
steffxnie chapter 1 . 9/14/2010
I like the third stanza, it's sad how people expect so much of them. ):

'And what about the stars, what do they wish upon?' Good job ending with this interrogation. To me, stars are so selfless, and endlessly generous. They appear so fragile but people never seem to wonder why.

'because of their inability to grant wishes

(it's not their fault they aren't magic.)'

ohh i wish i've thought of this for my own piece. ):

haha, this is nicely done.

It might not be as you wanted it to look, but I really do like the format. I adore this poem. I really love the line: "They are unaware of their importance; we put our heart and souls into them

through wishes of better tomorrows," and "And what about the stars, What do they wish upon?". I could list more haha, it's just really good. Very descriptive and wonderful! Great job!

such a profound, amazing question you've proposed.

and i have to admit, i've no idea.

i guess we're all just a little more than a little hopeless sometimes.

"And what about the stars, what do they wish upon?" I absolutely love this line - it's both incredibly powerful and wonderfully profound - how philosophical! :D
