i found this pretty entertaining at first. i'm a sucker for childhood frenemies tinged with romantic tension and whatnot. lea was such a fun character who had a great and original sense of humor. i found lyle quite adorable and his relationship with lea was hilarious. but i don't know, i forgot exactly which chapter but after sometime, lyle became a little too much. his treatment with lea was no longer funny, seriously, i don't think anyone's laughing anymore. when he locked her at the back of his car? that's not something you can brush off, but then again, pushing someone off the stairs was not something you can brush off either. making this look as if it's alright was like saying that domestic violence, or any type of violence for that matter, were acceptable. it just didn't sit well with me anymore. lea's somewhat submissive nature was no longer tolerable, it was nothing more but dumb and foolish. i wanted her to snap already and behave like a real person would, not as some character who was dictated to act in a certain way so that the story could progress in a certain path. i found myself just scrolling down the page and barely reading properly. it became rather uninteresting to me. yet, i still want to finish this, i'm only in chapter 18 and i wanted to see if lea would indeed snap at lyle and start acting like any real person would.

Nice story you've got here; it's got just the right amount of lunacy, silliness, plot and fluff.

Looking forward to the next update (and the development in the Lea-Lyle realm, of course ;))

This story is really good, although i thought it was kind of confusing, how mean Lyle is to her, yet he actually likes her, *chapter 20* or does he? *end of chp 20*

Their relationship is interesting and i like it how Lea is scared of him but she's drawn to him too! You keep the reader entertained with all the events happening with Lyle and Lea. Your short summaries at certain chapters are very good and concise, it gives the reader a reminder of what they have read/been reading so far. You've brought numerous twists and turns into the story, confused yet amazed the reader with your spectacular writing. The plot is good, and I can't wait to see what tricks you have up your sleeve for PART II of Nightmare with the neighbour -very creative title, by the way :) I like how Lyle is formal towards her at random times...and i like Lea's character. I think i read the first chapter once somewhere, but anyways, i'm glad you put it back up! I hope to read some of PART II in the near future!

I thoroughly adore this story, from beginning to the latest chapter. I enjoyed every chapter and found them quite intriguing.

I'm still puzzled by the death of Lea's father...did Lyle really do it or is it some kinda set up...and if he did do it...why?why did he do it?What pushed him to do it and I have a feeling that it has something to do with Lea and his father...or maybe it was his father who killed Lea's father. *pulls hair out* damn is this really a bit complicated. Lol. I love stories where the unexpected happens.

How will this affect Lea & Lyle's relationship? I hope they can really get through this. Not only that but I hope both of them recover their memories. It's really sad that just when their relationship was getting better and they were getting closer that this had to happened. It's very sad indeed.:( Spotted a few bits of litter grammatical and spelling errors in a few chapters though. I also wanted to inform you on a problem which I had with the fic but I had forgotten since I didn't bother to take note of it and just kept on reading. Oh well as soon as I remember I'll be sure to let you know. & yet again I hope you do not feel offended by anything I have said. I am after all here to help you along you're path in becoming a writer.

You are finally back? Where have you been? I've been waiting forever like a loser at home for this chapter! Ok, maybe I exaggerated just a tad bit, but I have been waiting for you to update! And maybe check out where you've been hiding! But I have received no clues of your six month disappearance! I was about to call the fictionpress police to find you!

Ha, ok I'm a little dramatic but hey who isn't when there's a great story like this around? Is it a crime to want to know what happens next after reading this story for a straight hour and being left there with a cliff hanger? It kills a reader you know. Now you've left me with another! What am I supposed to make of Lyle's past history of murder? There's one part of me that says, it's all a lie! There is no way that this semi-kind, sadist, but sweet boy could do such a thing! He's completely innocent I tell you! But then by Lyle's reaction from the document, I'm thinking, damn... maybe he did to it? But it had to be for a purpose right? You don't just kill someone to kill... unless your a psychopath which Lyle isn't. Though, I always see the good in the leading characters because every reader does that. Now, what is lea going to do? Obviously she thinks of Lyle as not human, despite their brief affection earlier. I was ecstatic that he made her cry, but I was surprised by his disappointment. It does make senses. She didn't cry from his torture, but by his upbringing. He's a little on edge now, especially with Lillian busting through. Hmmm, I have no predictions of the next chapter. I assume Lea will shied away from Lyle because he's a murderer an all and maybe Lyle will become distraught over losing his one and only friend? And Lillian will continue to threaten.

Well, no matter what it is, I'm sure I'll love it. Please update soon, don't torture me even more!

If I said I understood Lea's logic I would be LYING; HOW exactly are LASER-CUTTERS NOT harmful? Wow, anyway, I like her full name: Azalea - no wonder she likes gardening, she's named after a flower!

You would think that two brains could figure out a way to get that key out of that crevice. And what would a crevice like that be doing in the house? If Lea ends up staying the night I will go crazy. And whatever happened to just saying 'no' ? It interesting how Lea is just ALLOWING herself to get bullied at this point. Anyway, this chap was pretty eventful, so I liked it; I'm all torn up over Lea's self-inflicted predicament, but I guess it adds some drama to the story ;)

Okay, so Lea has an armchair fetish too? Loool. I really can't stand Lea for getting herself into this situation (I was kinda hoping Lyle would come after her and trap her or blackmail her or something... that's what happened in Hot Gimmick), and I can't believe she let herself get handcuffed! I mean, come on Lea! Lmao about the part where her stomach switched places with her liver though ;) But it's weird how she's so ... cold whenever she talks about her Dad, like she doesn't miss him or care about him or anything...
