The over bearing mother thing really irritates me. Like not within the story, I just mean I became really irritated when she inturrupted them, like I was getting irritated for Grace haha.

And god I love the name Grace.

I'm excited that you are working on another project, I love your writing.

I really like the prologue although I felt there were certain places where you could have elaborated so we could have gotten a better idea about what Grace was thinking.

But besides that, I loved the dialogue and I loved the characters. I couldn't help but smile when Alex told Grace that the necklace was nothing and she countered him.

Anyways, I'm excited to see where you go with this story and how they will behave when they are all grown up. I hope you don't mind the little bit of CC.

This was a fantastic beginning! It did well with introducing the characters, and if I remember right, Alex was the brother that got into some pretty big trouble in So Much To Learn, right? You have no idea how excited I was when I saw you had posted something new. A sequel of all things! Happy days are abounding! So marvelous, attention grabbing prologue. Extremely excited for the next installment.

I think I read SMtL at one point, but I think it was awhile ago. I also think you are right about this being able to be a stand alone piece (you would know your own story haha). Sweet scene that feels like it is building up for changes. Loveable characters and creative dialogue. Look forward to more to come and more wonderful song lyrics as well.

This was a really good first chapter; I've already hopped on the Grace and Alex train. I always seem to sympathize with girls who have suffocating, overbearing mothers.

I read SMTL quite a while ago but I don't remember a Grace or Alex at all, haha! Can you please refresh my memory and let me know what relationship they have with the other characters from SMTL?

I'm reviewing because I wanted to be first. I don't think I am, but maybe.

YAY! I loved this story. Having said that, I totally forget how Grace and Alex are related to SMTL, but I'm sure it will all be explained at a later date.

"My mum could drag me away from him all she liked when I was 15 and living under her roof, but, as soon as I was finished with high school, there was nothing in the world that would stop Alex and me being together."

Somehow, I can see the 'nothing' being Alex. Are we skipping three years? Because that would make sense. At least in my head. Alex would be far worse in three years wouldn't he? I mean, the ATW thing... that has got to be a bad outlook for a pair of 15 year olds.

I got this update as I am packing for the US, so I'm really attached to Alex leaving, cause I'm leaving too. We're like peas in a pod. It's just, I don't know what to pack, and I don't think Alex would have ever had that problem.

Anyway, can't wait to read more.
