I love the way you describe the magic stuff (sorry I don't know how to call it) through colours and patterns. My mind works like that - pattern matching & noticing the purest, brightest colours as guidelines can be of help in very odd and unexpected areas - from trying to remember something to getting a more manageable emotion/sense out of something larger or more chaotic. Hmm, I guess it's hard to explain - I simply don't have words for that. I just had to say that this description of what the characters in your story did strikes a chord inside me somehow.

That was a hard chapter,wasn't it, especially the description of the energy merging - I couldn't exactly picture it clearly until Tyne took over, but maybe it just the heat. We have 33C (91,4 F). So if I started to babble don't be alarmed - it just the heat.

I like what Tyne took care of his Bulwarks, and is so in character with Tyne as he is now. Gentle, kind and caring, and if he could do something to ensure his love ones well being, he would do it. He's going to be a perfect daddy, too, isn't he. I can just imagine him and Kyr as parents, a little overbearing sometimes, but always loving and supporting.

~Waves of emotion, of misery, and of fury rolled inwards from the expanse to press against Tyne like the begging, demanding hand of a starving child left with no recourse beyond pitiful coercion~ Very powerful.

I still love your descriptions. The way you put all the colors and the energy together was wonderful. Nice way to write the struggle with it to. I also liked the little creature there at the end. Sounds so sad. You know how to tug at empathy. You had a few typos but other than that, nice job as usual!

TT This chapter is so sad. I feel horrible for the poor creatures trapped in the Sky Fire, but more than that, I'm feeling confused by everything that's going on. I think I might have gotten a little lost when the curse was introduced. :/ Meh. Either way, we're approaching the climax of the second volume and I'm uber excited for the ending! Hopefully nobody we love dies!

That was a pretty sweet little roller coaster ride. This story was entirely not what I expected, in the best ways possible. Great beginning and then characters and plot. Totally fun. I wonder what more can happen. So, totally not just a love story. Right? Anyway, I must continue reading the next volume.

The scene about calling the door forward was great, the action itself was very image giving like I watched the movie, not to mention the connection between the Tyna and Kyr that I could just see in colors. Great.

It would be interesting to see what would happen once the door opens.

I guess you would at least need two, three chapters, since we haven't in the climax yet, before you finish this story.

And regarding reviews you don't sound needy - I know how you feel - and you deserve to get more reviews. A whole lot more.

Uh, uh. What a great chapter with so many new things. You presented a new fact with in such smooth way. Great. And Kyr being proud, actually all three cooing over Tyne - it was good to read that. A little time tore out for a little sweetness in the troubling times.

~You must never forget the past.~ I love this one. It applies to really life and this time, too. We often force ourselves to forget instead of memorizing and learning from our mistakes.
