I'm speculating here about why she's bleeding. Here's my theory. Her and Michael had sex, but there was nothing said about him using protection. So it could have been possible that she got pregnant the last time they did it. The blood could be from her having a miscarrage. It is a logical conclusion since she made sure to bring her own refreshments so that there wouldn't be anything mysterious put into her drink. Hmm...could this be it? I guess I'll have to wait to find out so please update again soon. I've loved reading your story.

I had forgotten how defiant Christina was with Michael in the beginning. I decided to go back and re-read from the beginning and I love it. It just amuses me that someone that was as obviously terrified as she was that she still managed to call him things like 'pathetic' and 'a worm'. Not the best insult in the world, but for her it works. Lol.

Again, wow. I am in awe with your talent for writing. This sotry is absolutely amzing and I adore both Christina and Michael. And yes I am waxing poetic on your story, but honestly, it's one of my all time favourites. You've got a knack for dragging people in and making them see things through the lenses you've created here, and it makes the entire thing that much more amazing. Plus it's my first het (I was more of a slash reader before) so it's got some sentimental value too lol ;)

Anyways, I really hope you'll make a sequel! I completely agree with you about how they can't be together right now because neither is mature enough. Christina's still a kid (with some very heavy added baggage) and Michael's got the emotional maturity of a starved 2 year old. But well, with all the shit they've been through, I feel like they deserve happiness. And, me being the romance addict that I am, I'm hoping they'll find it with each other (eventually) :p And holy fuck she was pregnant? I definitely was not expecting that! (well you had me guessing the whole way through so thats nothing new but still!) can't wait for the final part of the epilogue!

And this was great! I loved that you brought The Sniper back for this. Their conversation was a little amusing. I don't know why, but for some reason, I like the guy. I much prefer scenes with him and his weird sense of humor than with Adrian Callahan.

It's kind of sad with what happened to Christina. She's completely changed now and she can't even talk to anyone about it. I would have been so pissed off if my closest friend said what Rene had about it being time to move past it. I mean, it's true in a sense. You can't hold onto the past forever, but then again, she didn't experience what Christina did.

And what on earth is wrong with the girl? And will Michael show up or was the last chapter the last interaction he'll have with Christina until your sequel, which, by the way, I was completely excited to hear about! A sequel would be awesome. Michael is probably one of my favorite characters on this site.

Loving this chapter, reading between the lines it's obvious they both still pining for each other and it's sad that they tried to get on with their lives but failed miserably. And Chris is such a hot commodity since Michael watching her from one side and the sniper watching her from the other, to make sure that Michael toed the line!

I don't mind you prolonging the chapter though as long as the two of them end up together and have their happy ending.

Even though I'm the type of reader who wouldn't be satisfied unless the guy gets the girl (and the girl, the guy) I kind of like the fact that you're prolonging the getting together part-I foresee a more-than-satisfactory ending 8) (As opposed to something anti-climatic and blah)
