![]() ![]() oh. my. god. x.x; My heart is pretty much churning for poor Luke and poor Alex agh. haha. |
![]() ![]() ![]() An update! Fo' serious, I'm all teary-eyed, that's how happy and excited I am. I can't believe lovely Lukas and Felix kissed! They actually kissed! It was amazing. It's just a kiss, but there's been so much tension between them that that kiss just... wow. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Heyy, guess how excited I was to see an update? Very, very excited. And, I don't even know what to say. Alright, so, Felix and Lukas. I loved the dancing. And the kiss, God yes. Finally. Poor sweet Lukas was waiting for that for far too long. 3 But, um, I'm feeling horrid about that situation, because I simply /cannot/ get rid of the feeling that, Lukas mentioned in the first chapter that he's a /murderer/ and gahh. I'm almost scared to keep reading that part of the story. But of course I /will/ keep reading it, because how could I possibly stop? And then Luke and Alex. Ack. Alex's dream? Wow. And hey, I don't think I realized before this that Alex had siblings. I can't remember if it was ever mentioned before or not, but. As much as I almost don't want to know what happens in the end with Felix and Lukas, that's how much I /seriously/ want to know what happened with Alex and Luke. Like, what Alex's family was like and what happened to Luke and why they put up with each other. Except now Luke is leaving and just when they, oh my God, were starting to look out for each other instead of just sniping. So. Looking forward to the next chapter. 3 Can't wait. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is such an interesting story. I love switching between the time periods! Can't wait for the next update! |
![]() ![]() ![]() DAMN IT ALEX YOU DUMBASS! HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY DO THAT? OH MY GOD! ARGH! ok... ok... i'm done... *sigh* i just really REALLY want to punch Alex right now... he reminds me of my friend and trust me... it's not pretty -_-. I feel so bad for Luke D: I can totally tell that he likes Alex but Alex is too much of a dumbass to realize it and he just makes it worse by FUCKING UP! (I'd be yelling at him if he were real) But on a more happier note, OH MY GOD YAY! they finally kissed! FINALLY! i have been waiting for that to happen for 7 chapters XD *does extreme happy dance* you just made my week dear! I love this story and I'm so happy you updated! keep going! *fist pump!* |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh. _my_. It's not _necessarily_ going to be all right, is it? I keep changing my mind as to who was once who. It glosses equally well, though quite differently, either way. It depends o what happens next (in the old days). |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh. My. God. This is amazing! I couldn't stop reading it! I love both the historical and the modern day! You're style is really good and there's so much flow in the way you write and place your words. I usually don't like two different stories in one but I don't know the way you write it makes it better then other I've read before. I feel really bad for Luke... Alex seems like such a jack ass to live with... but hey at least he defends him! And I love the relationship between Felix and Lukas it seems so innocent but not innocent at all, I really like that about it. I can't wait for the next chap! _ |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this story! Can't wait for more! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yay! I feel like dancing around the room right now, but I'm not going to because I have to read this first. D And, yay! Alex isn't as much of an ass hole as he looks. He's just too lazy to /not/ look like it. But at least he has nice thoughts. ; And it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when he protected Luke. And, the dialogue in this was amazing. It's not exactly eloquent, but it's realistic. Half the kids in my school talk like that, and I can't say it doesn't annoy the hell out of me that they don't have a stronger grasp of the language they've grown up speaking, but it works absolute wonders with your characters and style and setting. [“Trouble? It’s only…whatthefuck…what fucking time is it?”] I think that was my favourite line in this chapter. You know what, it's amazing the way that you switch back and forth between cultured aristocrats and the doped up perspective of a guy in New York and make it seem like such a natural switch. I envy your skill. I really do. And I'm /so/ glad that you're back. Like I said, this story is on my mind all the time and I'm always looking forward to whatever comes next (even when it's been a couple months). I hope that everything turns out for you. Explosive family members, I have learned, are not fun at all, and I've never even had any explode specifically at me. And, I swear, last thing, but, aww, you're too kind. All I did was look up the year 1717, when it comes down to it. The rest is all you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm sorry you've been having it tough lately, but I'm glad you're back on track! It's so exciting to get to read more, I really love this story. Please keep up the good work, and I hope your life works out fine... ... Well that sounded empty. But it wasn't! |
![]() ![]() I love your story so far ). The characterization and imagery are great. Felix is...well, haha, I like him and hate him at the same time? I'm really curious if he's going to be a good fit in the end or not because I adore the bumbling Archduke. Extremely looking forward to the next installment! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Read all six chapters in one sitting. Lovely. I love both the stories and how they interconnect. Though I do have to say, since I am a fan of history, that the pieces in Austria are my favorite (though I am in love with Luke...and for a strange reason Alex. I have no idea why, I really shouldn't like him) Lukas situation is very realistic not only for the time but for any confused teenage boy put under pressure. Terribly brillant story, I can't fathom why it doesn't have more reviews. I do hope you update soon. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am enjoying this very much. I feel for Lukas, for Alex, for Luke: and Felix, too: imagine, to be so talented, and so hard working, and know that you'll always be the ace in the hole, never to be played except in the face of ultimate tragedy . . . |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's ridiculous how excited I was when I received the alert that there was a new chapter. I just love this story so much! I've always been interested in the 18th century, so the setting is a given success, but the characters and the plot and the style of writing are all so deliciously wonderful! Now the suspense is killing me, so please keep up the excellent work and update soon! ;3 I'm looking forward to reading more of what is going on in New York too~! |
![]() ![]() ![]() First off: D -squee-! I was super excited when I saw the alert. I. Love. This story. And updates are like, what I live for. I would love to go to a ball just once in my life, except I think I would detest all the ridiculously confident young men and the overly feminine, attention seeking young women. I'd probably go find someone to hide in a corner with. And Romy's such a sweet character. I love her. Hopefully they don't get in trouble? / Knowing Felix, it could go either way. Water Music, by the way, is love. I mean... one of the most beautiful compositions ever. Or a group of compositions. Whatever it is. I love Handel. |
