That was fantastic. Gradual romance! O man, that was really good. You know how to sneak it up on people. Mwahaha.
I'm totally ready to read Bolt from the Blue?
AGHH! This was great! I love how you didn't put any cuss words, kept it clean, but added drama to give the characters impetus to still interact with one another. Whoo~
You're a wonderful writer.
So thanks for bringing another awesome-tastic story to fictionpress. :)
And I tried to think of symbolism behind the Ale-8; did it represent God, religion or something? It did represent something, but it wasn't what I thought it to be. The Ale-8 was a connection that helped drive the two together for times of peace. :P Thanks again!

First reaction to reading him a Reverend: AW MAN! That sucks. But then I realized he's probably not Catholic (celibacy thing and all) and that this is still categorized as a romance fic. Then I smiled all big :)
And I was hesitant to read the story at first because I didn't know what Ale-8 was.
NO! Conclusion. But that's great, no cliff hangers :D

"Adam’s voice had lowered to a husky whisper she had never heard before and his hand was brushing her jaw and even though she couldn’t stand the man, she found herself swallowing, trying to work up enough 'salvia' to speak."
Just the misspelling of saliva. Sorry XD. Ahh, initially one would think if the author jumps back and forth that thinks would get too hectic and confusing, but it doesn't bother with plot really. What I truly didn't understand was the Highbridge incident. So the train is soon approaching and she's 3/4ths of the way through with the train when he throws her to the side? Aren't they atop the bridge with waters 300ft so below them? Where's the 'ground' you speak of; and she clings onto a rail, but doesn't the train...use the rails x)? I'm sorry, I'm too much of a city-gal to imagine train-tracks. I'll probably look up an image of it.
Their chemistry is SIZZLING. Like in the play of Wicked, Adam finally summarizes it (how I wish the story would go):“Do you find it weird that Elphaba and Fiyero started out hating each other and ended up falling in love in the end?” ...I wish :)
Still, the irony that two people despise (I think the characters are being over-dramatic) one another in a religious school. Sure it's good to be competitive, which they are to some extent, although they have their mature moments.
Aha, thanks for no cussing in this story (I don't think you cussed in your other stories?).

"I absolutely loathe the boy you have seated me beside."
could be changed to: "I absolutely loathe the boy you have seated beside me." Just a play on words.
Hmm, I like their converging characters. Adam and Bekkah both are stubborn and somewhat prideful in their view points - good reference to Pride and Prejudice - and although you said it's a sin in the beginning to hate someone, it's ironic they attend(ed) a Christian (?) college and never learned to get along. Obviously there's chemistry that Bekkah avoids like the plague.

Just the right amount of cliche and fluff. This leaves me with a happy feeling so I might be compelled to come back and read it from time to time, just to feel all warm and fuzzy. Great tie up, I was hesitant about her leaving but she came back, hurrah. The roof date does sound romantic, whether plausible or not. Terrific job.
| natmarie chapter 3 . 9/7/2009
Adorable recreation of the dug out scene and the acting bit and everyone wanting them to get togeher, but them...well at least Cheer...still being stubborn. Love it. Can't wait to see how it all gets tied up.

I have decided that I hate fp reviews, and the fact that if you accidently click out of them they have a habit of disappearing on you. I say this because that is just what happened to me. I had a nice long review to offer you too.
Reader's Digest version:
A few minor typos here and there, not anything major or annoyingly so, just thought I would mention it.
Now that that con-crit is out of the way, I am absolutely falling in love with this. Usually I can't stand when stories only revolve around two characters, but you have a knack for pulling it off. Because your setting is a real place and the events/rituals in fact real it all comes together and gives this welcoming feel that sucks you in. You also weave together events flawlessly, that while told in non-cronological order all intertwine. In short...this story intimidates me in that I'm-so-jealous-and-happy-for-you-amazing way. Yeah. :) I'll shut up now.

You never cease to amaze me. I love this glimpse into college life (I really am suprised that more stories on this site don't realistically portray college or even have to deal with college at all...sad for our age group really). The switched points of view were pulled off flawlessly and the story and description devine.
PS. I revived one of my old stories and would love to hear what you think. :)
