|Reviews for I’m going to die at 27|
| Scarlet Child chapter 1 . 9/5/2009
Fantastic. When I think of 27, I think of all the rock stars who died at that age – Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix. I loved the line “I’ve got it written all over my eyes living any longer than 27, would do my life no justice,” and while I can’t say the idea of dying at 27 sounds appealing (personally, I think that’s the age I’m going to start living), this poem certainly is.

I feel like there are a lot of unanswered questions in this piece - for instance, why at 27? Why is that particular age so important? I also want to know more about this disappearing that is discussed… why? and how?
Overall I liked your concept, but I feel like having so many questions (just from my perspective) makes it seem unfinished.
You also have a section that discussed the difficulties of life, and I felt like that has kind of been over used in the past, it didn’t add anything to YOUR piece, it just took stuff away. Keep up the good work.
