|Reviews for Badasses Don't Walk on Sunshine|
| Alanisaur chapter 1 . 4/11/2010
Thats a pretty good one shot. It's funny that he tries so hard to convince everyone and himself that he's a badass.
| joey chapter 1 . 4/8/2010
luke is amazzing love him and his conflicting internal dialogue!
| PornNinja chapter 1 . 3/24/2010
I love this! I love how it was so obvious from the start that Luke liked Kari, but he was always trying to cover it up to seem like a badass. Some lines I particularly enjoyed:
"Some idiot decided to draw a big penis on the gym floor, right underneath the hoop, in a red Sharpie marker and Danny Mullins just about had heart palpitations when he saw it. Though now that I think about it, he might not have been reacting to the vandalism of his beloved court, but instead realized that the sight of other men's parts turned him on"
I had to take a moment to laugh at this.
And the last line:
"Oh, God, I love myself."
It was all just so Luke. I mean, it's only a one-shot and you've perfectly showed what kind of character Luke is, and every line that he thinks is just perfect. Great job!
| Ellie Hunter chapter 1 . 3/20/2010
I LOVE this chapter. I enjoy the witty banter, and the characters seem very believeable. And I hate to admit it, but I think that I am slightly attracted to Luke Ardmore!
| Tabz chapter 1 . 3/14/2010
man, I love this so much! I think I laughed out loud at pretty much every paragraph. Aw, Luke is so adorable (in a totally bad-ass way) ;D but he seemed , at times a little...girly? (sorry)
but I loved it anyway, it made me chuckle, loads.

| are.theee chapter 1 . 2/23/2010
i loved this! the way luke thinks is totally adorable and hilarious. it's supposed to be lighthearted and fun, and it totally achieves that. i agree with you on the whole jaw-dropping epiphany bit, totally overdone and boring. this was sweeter and more sincere, in a way.
maybe write an epilogue? three years later or something? marriage? i dunno. i just like these characters )
| sasha blue chapter 1 . 2/17/2010
hahahaha that last line just got me. i loved it and the dimples;]
| Genato chapter 1 . 2/13/2010
Your plot is good and all but the way you write it... Hmm... It's just that, there's too many thoughts.. like your characters always have the attention span of a gnat or something. Although it many be endearing sometimes, sometimes it's just... crazy disorganized?
But I really like your plots and your interesting characters. Just try to hold back your details a little and it'll be better I think.
| iiHEARTyuu chapter 1 . 1/27/2010
Bahahahaha. Luke is hilarious. Such a cute badass.
| strawberrycrush chapter 1 . 1/27/2010

Sweet and short..!
| Amethystars chapter 1 . 1/21/2010

| FizzyLizzy chapter 1 . 1/21/2010
WHAT a character. It's so much fun reading about a character who is perfect and flawed at the same time. You had me laughing out loud with his cute little random commentary and that last line, pure gold. You don't find me loving down-right self-centred, I-think-I'm-God guys, but you just cannot help it with Luke. It's so refreshing to read about an arrogant guy who is ACTUALLY arrogant, not like the perfect, misunderstood type of heroes.
The only issue I had was although his need to constantly reassure himself and everyone around him that he was badass was hilarious, in some parts, it was a little overdone. Like he'd say something and add, 'because I'm badass', which I think is not really needed because you've already beautifully introduced his character as a self-loving try-hard (in a good way).
Other than that, I think it was a mighty enjoyable read!
